Excellent Place to Stay for Spring Break

This place was perfect. The view was awesome, and the place was nice and clean. It had everything you needed to have a great vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, waffle maker, blender, etc. It had a great view of the ocean, and pool. In addition, the back deck overlooked the tennis and pickle ball courts. It make it really nice tracking down our kids. The check-in / out process was easy. If I come back to Destin in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Pictures listed match the property! The beds were comfy and so was the furniture! The views are amazing and we enjoyed the spacious balcony! We were able to see the sunrise and the sunset and the beautiful colors on the gulf. The hot tub was great and we used it daily and the kids loved the pool. The tiki hut wasn’t ever opened which was disappointing but it was cold the majority of the trip so understandable why they wouldn’t be open. There are a few things that need a little work but loved the stay overall. the water pressure in the master bathroom is nonexistent and the temperature is touchy. The hand soap was watered down so I had to buy one to use. There was no cleaning spray to clean up after we cooked, but there were some Lysol wipes that ended up running out. Toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towels were limited but I knew ahead of time and brought extras of our own. There was no laundry soap so had to use our own to wash their towels (not a big deal but just so others are aware!). The communication was quick and responsive and we had no issues getting in touch with them. Instructions on how to get in and the rules were clear and not confusing at all. We didn’t take advantage of any of the spa services but we were pleased with all there was to do around the facility to keep everyone busy! Will absolutely stay here again should we find ourselves back in Destin!

60th Birthday Celebration

Four high school friends, turning 60 this year, decided to do something really special to celebrate. We found this place on VRBO, and although it was a splurge (a bit pricey), we were not sorry. We couldn't have asked for better weather, and our rooms were roomy and comfortable. Lots of local restaurants and things to see and do. There was nothing we would have changed!

Great Location Terrible Service

Destin Luxury Rentals allowed us to check in with standing water in our unit. They claimed it was from a prior guest. Supposedly the HVAC froze up and thawed a tremendous amount of water into one of our bedrooms. We didn't notice it in the first couple minutes but did notice the distinct musty smell upon entering the unit. The rental management company sent a company to remedy the water but it didn't work. The room's carpet was wet for our entire weekly stay. They refunded one day stay. Wasn't enough. I'd avoid this property as it 100% has mold issues at this point since the company didn't remediate properly. Other issues: - Beds are terrible; Desperately need replaced - Bathrooms were very dirt and need refreshed - Main Living Room TV was distinct blue tinge - Door handle to master catches and doesn't work properly - Kitchen dishes and provided materials were barebones - Fridge water sounded like a jet engine and had a slow leak when using Good parts: - Silver Shells location was great - Layout of the condo was really nice
