Wolf Ridge Chalet is a beautiful and spacious retreat for everyone in your family. We are conveniently located just 15 – 20 minutes from Boone or West Jefferson, NC! Plus it’s all paved access for up to 4 cars. You’ll enjoy our beautiful mountain views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Christmas tree farms. Our home has all paved easy access. It is especially great for folks with motorcycles. The South Fork of the New River is just a mile away from our driveway. There is a common area for everyone to use for swimming, fishing (NC fishing license required) or just hanging out.

Main Level: Our home offers 6 bedrooms with 4 and 1/2 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 14 guests. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with king bed and 1 with a queen bed, on the main floor and each bedroom has an en suite full bathroom and Roku TV. The master bathroom boasts a lovely claw foot tub perfect for soaking and a stand up shower. The beautiful and fully stocked kitchen boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances with a dishwasher, a regular coffee maker, built in microwave and an ice maker in the freezer. The open floor plan has a dining table for 6 guests and there is additional seating at the kitchen peninsula for 5 more guests. The laundry room with a full size washer and dryer and the half bathroom is on the main level.

Lower Level: As you travel downstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms, both with queen size beds. There is a full bathroom in the basement are as well. The entire group will enjoy the large 100” movie screen to watch your favorite TV show or your favorite movie with a Roku device. We have something for the entire family to watch from our large inventory of over 75 DVDs. The movie projector also has surround sound so you’ll feel like you’re right in the middle of everything. Also, enjoy a friendly game of billiards or shuffle board. We also have a flat top Ms. PacMan multi-arcade with many other games to play.

Above the Garage: There is a large room above the garage with 2 full size beds and a private 6th bedroom with another full size bed. There is also a full bathroom with a step-in shower for the guests who are staying in the rooms above the garage. The sleeping area above the garage can accommodate 6 guests. The air hockey is on this floor as well.

Outside: You’ll just LOVE the large spacious decks to sit a spell and enjoy the fresh mountain air and adore the views. After a hectic day of shopping, skiing, hiking, bike riding, fishing, or any other strenuous activity, you’ll want to soak in our large 6 person spa. The soothing water of the hot tub can help melt away tension and let relaxation replace the stress of the day! Relax under the covered deck with gas fire pit.

When the sun goes down, take the family to our large fire pit and enjoy roasting marshmallows, wieners, or telling your favorite ghost story. This is a perfect way to have family time and create memories that will last forever!

There is a 2 night minimum for off peak seasons and a 3 night minimum for the SUMMER MONTHS, most holidays and the entire month of October. 4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday and a 7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays.

-The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home nor hot tub area.
-There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
-No Smoking inside the cabin
-Minimum age requirement is 25 years old
-Check in time: 4:00 PM; Check out time: 10:00 AM

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
