I would say a villa more than apartment

The apartment is situated on a small hill in Santa Eulalia far away from the town not to hear the noise but is about a 15min walk along the beach max!.Which is great to walk off a big meal or a few drinks or work up your appetite. Its also 5 mins walking distance to the local supermarket and a few local restaurants.

The apartment its self is more like a villa and the photos do not do it justice!

The main bedroom is huge! It's open plan with a terrace over looking the pool and the sea. The bathroom has a big seperate shower, seperate toilet, double sink and a jacuzzi. The two further bedrooms are smaller but are of a good standard.

The main living area has a double height ceiling and it is massive! huge tv, great sound system, open plan kitchen and dining with two sets of double doors onto the terrace with a pool, dining area and more views over the sea.

The room has loads of comfy cushions and loads of candles, a great place for a party had we known how big it was. Its a great place to stay with friends!

I would definately recommend staying there to anyone and would consider staying there again if i go to Ibiza

Beautiful, spacious villa!

The four of us (2 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David's villa in Siesta, Santa Eularia. The location was about 25 mins from the airport and a bit shorter from Ibiza town. We had rental car but cabbed once into town for around 35 euros. The Santa Eularia marina down the hill was a short 10 min walk and there are tons of resuarants, shops and or rent a chair and umbrella on the beach. The best thing was the ferry that can take you to the beautiful Calla Longa beach around the corner, down to Ibiza town or across to Formentera island. It was also so nice to cool off in the pool or laze in the sun. We each had a room on our own floor with full bathrooms. The master bedroom is on the same floor when you enter the villa and has a deck that overlooks the pool below. The other 2 bedrooms are on the top floor, the kitchen and living space one floor down where the pool is. There is air conditioning in all the rooms, which is a nice reprieve from the heat outside. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and there are a few dining tables: in the sun, shade or inside. We didn't use the BBQ but did do some laundry and hung our clothes to dry in the sun. The pool gets cleaned once a week at 9am, so don't be alarmed when the pool guy let's himself in. Only one suggestion would be to bring soap for the shower, but we always travel with wash soap so it was no issue for us. There are garbage bins at the end of the block and colored recycle bins just a little farther. The villa is perfectly situated far enough from the clubs, but easily accessible to anything you want to do. We can't wait you return and stay in David's villa again!

Large villa with nice views but a few niggles

On arrival it was quickly established that neither the TV, WiFi or air conditioning in the two upstairs bedrooms worked. Whilst we acknowledge David was quick to respond to our request to rectify this, as we arrived on a Saturday, the TV and WiFi were not sorted until the Monday and the air con took in excess of a week. The WiFi is topped up each month and unfortunately for us, the people prior to us had clearly used all the data. We felt disappointed that their usage (which of course they were fully entitled to do) meant that we did not receive the full facilities on offer and feel it would be prudent in future if things such as WiFi working, TV working were checked between rentals.

Points to note:-

- The villa is over three levels thus there are approx. 40 steps between the kitchen and the two bedrooms upstairs with the main bedroom at the half way point. Except for travelling from the front door to the main bedroom, every other room has to be accessed by steps. There is a lift in the villa but this is not in use.

- The sun (in early August) did not arrive on the patio until approx. 10am due to shadowing from another building so there isn't breakfast in the sun on the terrace if you are an early riser.

- The walk from the villa to the nearest beach is down an exceptionally steep hill.

- Mid stay clean is not guaranteed at the half way point. Ours was carried out on the Tuesday of our second week rather than the Saturday.

- Decking has been placed around part of the edge of the pool (instead of the normal tiles) but this has been mitred around the steps area to create a point which overhangs into the pool itself. In our view only, this creates a bit of a hazard with the potential for children to bang their heads whilst playing in the steps area.

- There isn't any access to the villa except through the front door so when the pool men came, they had to come fully into the villa and through the kitchen, lounge area. I am unsure what would happen re pool cleaning if you are not in on their days.

- There isn't a parking space with the villa. This was a niggle only as the villa next door had several visitors during the first week of our stay and we had to park quite a way up the road. The second week however was fine.

The villa was perfectly clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the showers were powerful. The pool was large and there were plenty of seating areas both in the sun and in the shade. The beds were comfy.

Resposta do proprietário: Thanks for your review I appreciate all comments so I can improve the guest experience. Unfortunately as I explained to you the problems had not been noticed prior to your arrival or they would have had them rectified. As the problems were discovered at the weekend it was extremely difficult to have any engineers call in to rectify them. With regard to the wifi the system we had was satellite broadband with a 15GB monthly data allowance, which in the past 3 seasons has not been a problem. It would appear at some point over the summer the password for the router was taken off making it possible for surrounding properties to use up the data allowance. As I explained to you the company that supply the system do not offer a weekend customer service and their website would not allow me to top the data up, therefore this was done on Monday morning. We have now had conventional landline broadband installed so this will not be a problem in the further. The air-conditioning had been looked at by a number of people during your stay and they had got it to work in a fashion! whilst in Ibiza last week I have the second floor air-conditioning completely replaced to avoid any further issues. I am not sure why you didn’t have the apartment cleaned halfway through your stay, as this should have happened and I can only apologise for this. My parents are at the property at the moment and have had the building who installed the decking round the pool at the end of last season change the design of the corners so they are not so obtrusive. Truly magificent property

I thought i had actually reveiwed this property as we stayed there nearly a year ago. An oversight for which i apologise.

As people have said, the size of this villa , because its just to big to be called an aprtment , is amazing. You will not be dissapointed ; we were two adults and 4 children and we fitted in with room to spare. The downstairs alone is bigger than my entire house. The bedrooms , especially the master bedroom is superbly equipped and spacious. Just be aware it is over three levels , no problem to us at all though.

The view over the town is great from the pool area , there are plenty of chairs and loungers here aswell.

The pool , where we spent most of the two weeks we were here was a great size , clean and warm. You are not overlooked when using it either which is a bonus.

The town as such is around a 15 minute walk away , down a hill mostly , no problem going down but a pain in the heat coming back up.

Food in the town was average in my opinion , the usual tourist fare. However Restaurant 17 about 4-5 minutes walk away was just superb.

Great villa, good location , nice pleasant town ,about 45 minutes from the airport , €40 each way in a taxi. Plenty to do at the apartment, plenty to do in the town.

We had a slight problem not of Davids making ( the owner ) and he was great and helpful

I would have no reservations in returning to this property , truly amazing and worth the visit.

Galerias de arte, a bela e exclusiva marina, alguns dos melhores restaurantes da ilha, algumas compras muito exclusivo, uma próspera comunidade durante todo o ano, garantir que a vida em Santa Eulalia é levada a um ritmo um pouco mais lento e mais relaxante. Há alguns excelentes bares aqui também, mas a vida noturna não é nada como Ibiza ou San Antonio.
