Great spot near downtown
Great location close to downtown Deland.
Thank you so much for your review. This apartment is in one of the grand old lady Victorians from back in the Deland heyday and an easy walk to everything DT Deland offers.
Great place to stay.
The Marigold was nice and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was an excellent location so close to downtown we were able to walk to all of our activities. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Marigold to anyone looking for a place to stay in DeLand.
Thank you for your very kind words. We truly love The Marigold and save the main Victorian House for vacationers and guests. The other units behind are full time residents so there are always people enjoying the quiet space so near downtown.

Wir sind bereits das dritte Mal in Deland und haben immer wunderbare Tage in diesem Haus verbracht. Es hat Charme und reichlich Platz. Es liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von Downtown entfernt.
Translation: "We are already the third time in Deland and have always spent wonderful days in this house. It has charm and plenty of room. It is within walking distance of downtown."
Reply: We love hosting repeat guests. The Marigold is a great place to enjoy peace and quite and walk to center of town in 20 minutes when you like. Looking forward to hosting a future stay.
Vacation stay
We had a very nice & quiet stay at this property. Our dog was very comfortable here as well. This allowed us to visit our Mother at the cloisters for extended hours without worry.
Being near the center of town makes it a great place to stay for visiting family at the various Senior Living places Deland has and for visiting with Stetson Students. Also we love hosting your four legged family as well.
Way more spacious than I anticipated. Clean and well stocked. Great parking spaces and ramp.
I was in town for Stetson graduation and preferred this type of accommodation over a hotel anyday. I could cook my own food and relax in the evening. The place is super close to downtown which makes it convenient and close to Spec Martin Stadium for easy access to graduation ceremony. I will be returning during Bike Week because it super close to Daytona and reasonably priced.
We love to hear this, thank you for staying with us. Don't forget to book it early as the area fills up around festivals, especially Bike Week and Nascar races.

Yes the Marigold is situated just a short walk from downtown Deland which has been voted the Best downtown in the Nation in America's Main Street competition in June 2017. It truly has so much to offer and hosts multiple festivals every year. My favorite is the Mardi Gras Dog Parade where locals dress up their pooches for that year's theme and then parade them in front of thousands of people! It is so fun. One year it was "Off to the Races" and a lot of little dogs were wearing little jockeys on their backs. And of course, we host a Bike Week coinciding with Daytona's where the downtown is closed off just for bikers for the weekend. Whether you're here to get your kid situated at Stetson University, a NASCAR Race, seeing family or any other reason for visiting Deland, we can offer you a great place to stay.
