O apartamento está luxuosamente acabado e deliciosamente espaçosos e arejados, com ar condicionado em toda e ventiladores de teto que raramente usam porque é tão fresco. Ele está situado na mais elegante nova comunidade na costa do Pacífico - à direita no mar e muito tranquilo, ainda dentro do alcance (cerca de uma hora) de Cidade do Panamá. Em um projeto aberto encantadora, a sala de estar, o seu terraço mobilado, sala de jantar, cozinha e olhar para fora em uma vista de 180 ° (sol a sol) do oceano; na parte de trás dos quartos olhar mais de 50 milhas toda campo e montanhas. Armários grandes, grandes casas de banho, internet de alta velocidade, televisão por cabo, cozinha up-to-date equipada.
Jardins tropicais requintadamente bem cuidados, com 4 piscinas de borda infinita com espreguiçadeiras esticar abaixo. O edifício faz parte de uma comunidade privada em uma praia ampla, com um exclusivo (para residentes) bar e restaurante famoso, bem como spa, sauna, sala de fitness, ginásio infantil.
O centro de fitness está equipada com máquinas de exercício profissional, spa com massagistas top-notch, manicure, pedicure, jacuzzi, sauna ,; as piscinas de borda infinita prestar serviço à beira da piscina; entregas de mercadoria estão disponíveis, 24 horas concierge. Playa el Palmar, uma comunidade de surf com excelentes professores, é de apenas cinco minutos de distância, e Coronado, a cidade biggish mais próximo, fica a 10 km abaixo da estrada e oferece golfe, equitação, ténis, muitos bares e restaurantes característicos, clínica moderna.
We spent 5 blissful weeks at Rio Mar in Alain and Karen's condo; 3 weeks as a retired couple plus 2 weeks hosting family members including our 16 months-old-grand-daughter. More than enough room for everyone and actually very child friendly, both the condo and the pool areas.
The condo is exactly as in the photos and in fact, better: the gym and all the equipment is in perfect working order; the pools are great for fitness swimming and the patio areas have even more sun awnings and umbrellas. Also, things will keep improving as the ongoing construction is almost finished so daytime noise and dust will be a thing of the past. In the condo, we really appreciated the separate AC unit for the bedrooms as we used it but only for sleeping. The front AC unit was not necessary at all because of the terrific and consistant breeze.
The staff at Rio Mar are helpful and very approchable. The HOA is very active and very much on top of things so repairs do not keep and all common spaces are very well kept. Bonus, the residents of Rio Mar proved to be extremely helpful in regards to local information re local grocery stores, beach tides and the like.
Alain and Karen were excellent hosts from start to finish, answering to all our needs and questions. They were especially helpful in getting to know the nearby communities of San Carlos and El Palmar.
Of note, we found the use of a car very convenient for both touring (don't miss Santa Clara & Farallon beaches or the mountains in & around El Valle) and grocery shopping but beware, driving to Panama City can be very arduous as traffic can be real heavy at times.
We highly recommend Rio Mar and would return in a flash,

We have stayed in this apartment twice and have enjoyed every moment. The owners Karen & Alain are the gracious owners we have ever met. The furniture is lovely and comfortable.
The apt. has a great Panoramic view and our daily walk on their beautiful beach is our daily meditation. Also food shopping is close. The staff is friendly and always helpful. Oh the restaurant in the resort area is fantastic!
The condo in Rio Mar was lovely and very comfortable. This is our second year staying at Rio Mar. The panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean is just beautiful.
The resort also has a fantastic restaurant with a great Chef. Our favorite is the ceviche and Salvatore's Sangria. We look forward to returning next year.

Condo is perfect, view of the Pacific Ocean....very clean and staff is very professional. Great convenience is the restaurant on the premises with a great chef. We are coming back next year.
We stayed at the Rio Mar Condo for one full month. My husband and I cannot say enough about the condo and the property. There were 3 beautiful pools to enjoy, and a little restaurant/bar. The grounds on the complex were immaculate, the staff were professional and very friendly. The condo itself was the best that we have ever stayed at with VRBO or Home Away. There was always a beautiful breeze coming thru the condo, therefore only used the A/C once or twice during our stay. The owners, Karen and Alain were the BEST !!!!! They were both well versed in the Spanish language and therefore assisted us with any communication problems that we encountered. Alain introduced us to the San Carlos local co-op fishery where we bought fish right off the boat, as well as prawns the size of your hand. How great it was !!! Karen and Alain could not have been more gracious hosts, and will certainly miss them. We are hoping to return in the near future to enjoy their condo. I would recommend this property without hesitation. Nearby restaurants were by the abundance and a must to experience. We visited El Valle de Anton, a nearby town in the mountains, several times during our stay, and would recommend it highly as a side trip. We recommend this property as a "must stay" if you are considering travelling to Panama. Such a beautiful Country !!
Rio Mar is a sentimental place for us that we have visited and surfed at many times. We watched the Rio Mar community being built and were a little skeptical about disrupting the raw beauty of this once isolated beach. But, when we saw this vacation rental we thought why not give it a try and stay right at the point of so many fond memories for us. Now we have many more!
The listing description for this apartment is very accurate. The amenities and pools are spectacular! There is not a big crowd yet as they are still developing so most days are VERY quite. However, one should know that there is current construction going on for the new tower being built next store. This unit is not within eyeseight of of the other tower so it wasn't a concern for us but you will hear the noise during the weekdays until 4pm or so.
But, if you venture down to the beach or beach side pool you wouldn't even know it was going on.
Customer service on behalf of the owners was excellent! I had some initial trouble with the internet password and they called me long distance immediately to fix the problem.
The decor is modern and luxurious.
The kitchen is spacious but the oven doesn't work well and the sink faucet splatters water. (minor complaints)
I would've liked for there to have been more beach side activities, they had surfing class only one Sat. We have a toddler so more stuff for her would've been great. She loved the beach, hunting for crabs and there's a nice, small playground except it's on a dangerous hill so you have to be careful with little ones.
The restaurant didn't have much variety, if any. Some days they were out of a lot of stuff but some days there was no one in sight so I could understand why they wouldn't over stock. But the drink options are great and there's a gorgeous deck next to the pool where you can view a romantic sunset...wish I had the chance to do so without the baby.
The front desk staff are very friendly and we always felt very safe and secure.
We would not only recommend this apartment in Rio Mar to family and friends but we would love to have the chance to stay there again ourselves!
