AMAZING STAY!
We had the most wonderful week at Absolute Deckadence! The house was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable and spacious. The layout was wonderful for us with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The pictures give a very good description, and I would say it was even better in person. We will definitely try to stay at this house again. Having the pool made a huge difference, and we enjoyed it so much!

Wonderful stay
We had a really nice stay with 11 adults and 3 teens. Beautifully decorated house with well-stocked kitchen. Great outdoor furniture. The house layout was comfortable and had enough separated areas to allow us to spread out and still be comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and spa, but be aware it is a spa and not a hot tub so it only warms 10 degrees above outside temp. That said, it was 77F outside so we still enjoyed it during the Christmas/New year week! We’d recommend getting bikes for easy transportation to a couple of local spots for seafood, ice cream, liquor store, grocery. House was generally well maintained. A few issues arose but rental agency was quick to respond. Couldn’t get air conditioner serviced due to illness of a member of our party, so top floor was too warm to sleep. A few other relatively minor issues were resolved promptly.

Not worth the price; feel deceived and cheated.
Although the home was roomy and in a great location on Cape San Blas, we are extremely disappointed with this vacation home because of several serious issues, some of which were never resolved during our stay even though we notified the rental company (Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals). Issues included 1) the hot tub would not heat, 2) the lock on the pool room door was broken and not functioning, 3) the water to the home shut off completely one day for a while, and 4) the dining room and kitchen lights on the 3rd floor of the residence kept tripping a switch on the breaker box, which was located on the 2nd floor, and many times we had to flip the switch to get the lights back on. Annoying! We are also disappointed with Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals. They did not notify us of the non-working hot tub prior to our arrival. We had to learn about it from a pool service company employee who happened to be at the residence upon our arrival on Saturday, October 9. He told us the hot tub would not be heated all week because they were waiting for a part to repair it. We asked if the pool could be heated instead, and the pool company employee told us “No, because the hot tub heats the pool.” This was remarkable to hear because on October 3, we had emailed Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals and asked how much it would cost to heat the pool. Jessica Pitts, of Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals, replied on October 4, “The cost to heat the pool is $300.00.” We specifically picked a vacation home with a hot tub. The fact that the rental company did not notify me that the hot tub was not working and then told me I could pay $300 to heat the pool, even though it was not possible to do so, makes me feel deceived and cheated. For the price we paid, the quality of this home should have been much better. The only issue resolved during our stay was the broken lock (the lock was replaced). Deborah Mixon & Family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 6 bedroom house met our needs for rooms for all the grandchildren and their parents. The pool was a definite plus because the gulf was tougher than normal and the weather was cloudy. The main living area and kitchen was roomy and easy for all 11 of us to gather to eat or play games.
