***Due to the ongoing issues with Mexico's water treatment pumps, the ocean is not guaranteed to be open at this time.. They do test the bacteria levels daily, but the majority of the year the Ocean has been closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a major amenity I would not stay in these areas, until further notice.***

Beach Club

The beach club is a three story private, gated complex. The Beach Club is a U-shaped building that is located on the sand, no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It has its own heated pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, and barbecue facilities in the spacious garden atrium.

Unit #204 is on the second floor and offers you a beautiful southwest view overlooking the grass park and the ocean. You'll relax to the soothing sound of the ocean waves. You'll have your own private, sunny direct oceanfront balcony.

Relax in a quaint beach town, stroll on the quiet beach. Walk on the old fishing pier, and bring your rod and bait! Excellent surfing! Watch or participate! A 10 minute drive affords you easy access to the famous Island of Coronado and its golf course. 25 minutes takes you to the world famous San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, San Diego Embarcadero, San Diego Convention Center, fabulous desert or mountain drives, Mexico, and all that the sophisticated city of San Diego has to offer!

We should have known when we opened the front door and the welcome sign fell down, its broken, rust nail disintegrated. This property has probably never been upgraded or maintained. The faux leather couches are broken so that I actually hurt my back sitting down the first evening. The leather look fabric is rubbed off and crumbly. The door latch to the deck is so rusted it is very very difficult to open and close. Not very safe for an emergency. The camping chairs on the patio are split we could sit out there, though the view is amazing. There was one lamp in the living room but the electric outlet is so old (as are all the outlets) the cord won’t stay plugged in, so we moved the only lamp in from the spare room. The carpet is filthy. Any time spent barefoot results in black feet. The ceiling fan above the dining table is crusted with dust and grime. The kitchen faucet won’t turn off fully. Knobs are missing on the old, grimy stove. There are only 3 teaspoons! Bring your own salt, pepper, sugar and coffee filters there is absolutely nothing. The master king mattress does not have a mattress pad which is gross. The en-suite shower door is rotten and moldy at the base. One sink is badly cracked. The dryer didn’t work because the door was falling off. The lint filter is broken and won’t fit properly so your clothes would get caught on it and ruined anyway. I didn’t plan on spending our last day drying clothes in a laundromat! The A/C intake grill is completely rusted.

Somewhat disappointed

The location and scenery was outstanding beautiful With the exception of all of the homeless people that we have to see throughout the whole day in the park was disturbing. Having to see them drink alcohol and smoke marijuana and have them laying their clothes out while we are viewing the beautiful ocean and the pier was very disappointing. The condo was nice but very outdated. If the stove and furniture and interior was given some TLC it would be a top-notch rental. Even with all that being said, we still had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay

We had a great time at this rental. Celebrating my 40th on the beach front was a dream come true. Thank you so much! I will definitely rent here again.
