Trés bel endroit, nous avons passés un excelent sejour, trés reposant, contacte avec la nature. La piscine est trés bien, la maison trés agréable. Le propriètaire nous a trés bien accueillis, trés attentionné. De trés bonnes vacances comme je le souhaitais.

Tranquil escape

Property in optimal conditions.From spectacular for rest and sightseeing. Nearly various localities of Alentejo to visit as Beja, Mértola, Castro green, Dam of Sta Clara and is preferred beach is the Algarve to 40 minutes.

Very well attended by the person's property and always available, attentive and fun.Single remarque is lack of some small electrical kitchen.

Hi Mike, my partner and two teenage children enjoyed a fantastc stay with you last month, your holiday cottage is so homely, the views are simply stunning, and the pool is a very welcome addition, my son very much enjoyed exploring the pathway up to the mont, Amy my daughter was very relaxed lounging by the pool, following advice from you, we all enjoyed fantastic days out at Villamoura and Albufeira, you live in a beautiful area,. we all look forward to returning to your home very soon, thank you Mike for a wonderful stay. Sometimes it is difficult to imagine any property from adverts but happily many people who have stayed here agree it does all that it says on the tin.with some previous guests saying the photographs do not do full justice to the location. Comfortable cottage in a gorgeous location.

To anyone considering renting this cottage - go ahead; you will be very comfortable and relaxed and welcomed. This isn't one of those trendy bare-walled villas that are bland and impersonal; there are pictures on the walls and large sofas to stretch out on when you just want to chill out and read,or just cool off from a hard days sun-bathing by the clean, inviting pool, which is surrounded by beautiful views and well maintained gardens. If you're lucky, as we were, there is a breeze to keep you from burning up completely, while you laze there.

The bedrooms are clean, with enough storage and firm , but comfortable beds. We slept really well every night. The shower in the en-suite is a little tricky, but you'll soon get used to controlling the temperature. Challenging, but fun. Didn't try the shower in the house bathroom, so don't know what that is like to use.

The kitchen has pretty much all you need. Plenty of cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery and a dining area with a table which will sit six easily and more, if needed. OK, the oven isn't high tech, but it does the job well and the hobs work fine. If you prefer to barbecue, there is one ouside, but we didn't try it.

This is an amazing, beatiful rural location. You are within reasonable driving distance to/from The Algarve or the completely unspoilt west coast and with so little traffic on the roads, getting around is so enjoyable and the scenery, wherever you drive, is amazing.

The owner, Michael provided us with any information that we needed: good restaurants, places to visit. All we had to do was ask.

If it wasn't for the fact that we rarely return to places, because, let's face it, it's a big world and we aren't going to get to see it all if we don't try something new - we would go back to Cassa Sossagado without a moments hesitation.

Absolutely Relaxing

The beautyful Cottage is spacious, very well equipped and looked after. The pool is clean and big enough to swim, very private situated and perfect to spend a whole day of recreation.

At night you have unbelievable starry skies where you can see the milky way and a lot of shooting stars.

We missed nothing, the owner is very friendly and spares no effort to make his guests feel comfortable.

The region is very sparsely populated, but you can reach everything by car without any problems. There are some idyllic little towns to visit, the Algarve Coast is easy and fast to reach on the motorway.

The nearby supermarket is well-assorted and you can buy very good regional food, there are also some good restaurants offering alentejo specialities.

So we can recommend Casa Sossagado to everyone looking for perfect recreation in a very peaceful environment.
