wonderful condo! great location!

The condo was very clean and updated. Has all of the items and services we needed. Loved the location! Beach was wonderful for relaxing and shelling. The view was fabulous! We enjoyed a gorgeous sunset each evening from the balcony or the beach! Plenty of local restaurants and shopping if that's your thing. The owners were great to work with, were very friendly and helpful. We will visit again!

Great place to vacation! Great condo!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. This is the second time we vacationed on Marco Island and stayed at this condo. We stayed for a week in mid-July with two adults and two children. I was surprised by the previous reviews stating that the air conditioner was not on and that there was a “smell” in the condo upon arrival. We had no such issues; the air conditioner was on, the unit was cool, and was in pristine condition. It is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The views from the balcony are lovely. We decided to cook dinner ourselves a few nights, which was easy since there are several grocery stores nearby and the kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The unit is located close to the elevators and laundry room, and just a short walk from the pool, which the kids absolutely loved. The unit had plenty of beach towels, tote bags, and insulated cooler bags which we used to carry our things to and from the pool and beach. We took advantage of the handy drying rack on the balcony for our beach towels. At the condo were four chairs, a beach umbrella, and some buckets/sand toys for the kids. A beach cart would be helpful for the walk to the beach, but it is definitely manageable. The beach was beautiful, and we enjoyed our time there swimming and relaxing in the sand, and we found a ton of amazing sea shells when we went shelling during low tide. We found the location to be perfect, with a wide range of restaurants and shopping nearby, and activities like boat tours around Marco Island to see dolphins, tours of the Everglades, and the Naples Zoo kept us and the kids entertained. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and look forward to coming again in the future!

Just OK

Although this condo is beautifully decorated, there were a few cons to renting this unit. We had debated renting a condo vs private house and we wish we had opted for the house. As previously mentioned (we booked our vacation prior to the most recent review), the unit did have an odor. We purchased air fresheners during our stay which didn't help. The biggest disappointment was NO washer/dryer in the unit! It is on the same floor but is outside the unit and a pay for service, about $3.50 a load. The dryer is terrible. The beach is a very long haul, as previously mentioned in another review. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from 1st feet in the sand to water's edge. A beach cart would be nice since it is a long haul. Also, the beach chairs were broken, so we had 1 chair. There are no rental chairs available at this beach and several people were fishing NEXT to folks swimming! I realize the condo owners cannot prevent this but it was very disappointing. This isn't our first trip to the area. Marco Island is beautiful but we will likely not return to the area nor rent this unit again. We rely on reviews when we book vacations and I hope this helps other renters in their decisions.

While many of your disappointments have to do with our beautiful island, you also apportion a good share to our condo to which I like to respond. Odor. This one bothers us the most and it relates to a wrong setting for the air conditioner. You could have called us or Century 21 (where you got the keys) and the problem would have been attended to immediately. The people who rented the condo after you reported that the odor is completely gone. Broken beach chairs. Sorry you only had one chair instead of three. We replaced the broken ones right after you left when we were notified of the problem. Again, your call would have brought you new chairs within 24 hours. No washer and dryer inside the condo, your "biggest disappointment". REALLY? From our front door you had to walk 20 feet to the left and you had two washers and two dryers. That they are "coin operated" is clearly stated in our condo description. Wide beach. Yes, nature has extended our beautiful beach and it takes a 8-9 minutes walk to reach the waters edge on the Gulf side. The pictures on our Home Away page clearly show the beach. Thank you also for your suggestion, we will buy a beach cart. Fishing next to swimming. Yes, the beach is only 6 (six) miles long. We are sorry you could not find a spot away from the people who were fishing. No Return. We feel bad that you do not want to return to Marco Island, and hope you find a better beach community for your next vacation. Our efforts will now concentrate on restoring our 5 star rating. Nice unit and nice location!

We enjoyed our stay on Marco Island! The unit was clean and comfortable. Aside from the fact that the air conditioning had not been running when we got there (someone prior to our arrival set it to the "fan" setting and not on cool, so the condo was hot and smelled musty for a while before it cooled off--we purchased some air fresheners to help with the smell) and also aside from the fact that the walk from Tower 4 to the beach is at least 15 minutes long (which we did not expect,) and aside from the fact that the washer and dryer is in a shared laundry room on the same floor (that you have to pay for) and not located in the unit, overall the stay was fine. The views from the balcony are awesome--sunsets are spectacular. The unit is nicely upgraded and decorated. The condo is well-equipped with kitchen items, bath towels, beach towels and beach gear, etc. which we were thankful for since we arrived by air and therefore didn't have to pack all of that or purchase it upon arrival. The grounds are nicely landscaped. The staff handling the rental property is friendly and the owner himself was pleasant to speak with. Marco Island is beautiful and overall we were happy to stay in this condo.

It is very upsetting to us, since the cleaning grew has strict instruction to have the air conditioner on all the time! We never had this problem before and hope it will not happen again. Yes we know we have a wide beach, lots of people love our unit since we are right next to the nature area and have an unobstructed view, to the beach and watching lots of birds. It takes us between 8and 9 minutes to walk to the beach.

Great get away!

We love this condo and the feeling of total relaxation enjoyed from the balcony from our morning coffee, afternoon escape and sunset dinners on the balcony. We enjoy the walks on the beach to Marco Pass, the ocean, and the late afternoons watching all of the walkers! The pool is great. Secure and quiet this fits the winter get-away we enjoy!

We keep coming back!

This Marco Island condo will exceed your expectations. We have visited the island in October and June which are lovely times to visit. However, any time is a good time to come to the Island! Visiting in the summer and fall is the time to avoid the crowds but enjoy the warm weather. The ocean is so warm and inviting at these times of the year. The condo is exactly as it appears in the pictures and the owners work very hard to keep it well maintained. Everything is included just bring your clothes and settle in, even beach towels, umbrella and chairs are provided. There are so many things to do on the island. Visit the lovely outdoor pool. The pool is so clean and there are many chairs for lounging. Many times we were the only ones in the pool! The other option is to visit the beach. The walk along the beach which is groomed daily is amazing. Sand dollar spit is a short walk down the beach where you can go at low tide to do shelling. One of our visits we collected over 40 sand dollars at one time. We eat our meals on the oversized balcony which has cushioned chairs to watch the magnificent sunset. However, there are wonderful places to eat. Ne Ne’s café and Doreen’s are breakfast places that will not disappoint which are within walking distance of the condo. Check out the Snook for the nightly specials and live music every night, it sits right on the water. They even have an outdoor bar. You can sit and have a drink and watch the boats go by. Take a very short drive to the Isle of Capri fish house for a wonderful meal, dining is within 12 feet of the water. Activities include renting a paddleboard, kayak, bikes or even a boat. Take a dinner cruise on the Marco Princess or a catamaran boat tour at sunset. Rose Marina on the island has boat rentals for 4 hours or all day. We rented a boat and explored the intercostal waterways and saw dolphins on our journey. We will be back and have our list already of what we will do next time which includes going on a fishing expedition, renting jet skis and doing a sunset catamaran boat tour! There is plenty of things to do on the Island but your always have the beautiful condo to come back to after a fun day in the sun! Enjoy!!!
