Sitting on almost one acre beachfront manicured lot in Galveston Island, Beach Oasis is conveniently located near Jamaica Beach in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds yet still close to all the fun the city of Galveston offers. Take a short walk to Nate’s West End Restaurant, gas station, golf cart rental, and Seven Seas grocery store, the biggest grocery store on the west end. Jamaica beach park (that has a beautiful pool), and Jamaica beach RV park (that has a pool, mini golf, pool and Lazy river) is within 1-2 miles from the house.
Moody Gardens, magic carpet golf, Schlitterbaun are about a 10 minute drive.
Pleasure Pier, strand, and Galveston Harbor (cruise terminal) is about a 20 minute drive.
Beach Oasis is surrounded by an open space for privacy and endless green space. Steps from the beach (literally on the sand) with a private beach walk over for easy access. We have unobstructed endless, right and left, views of the Gulf of Mexico, the sunset and the sunrise. Enjoy them year round.
We have plenty of on and off site parking.
In addition to the beautiful manicured front yard, we have a huge (over half an acre) backyard of beautiful Lawn, where you can run around and throw a ball. Under the house is a large picnic area and deck with picnic tables and beautiful views of the beach.
All the outside windows are protected with storm shutters, which also serve as blackout shades.
We sleep 20 in beds. Inside, Beach Oasis is tastefully decorated with bright beach colors and accents. Enjoy the comfortable new memory foam mattresses with the 800 thread count luxury sheets.
We welcome small evens such as birthday parties and retreats. Please clearly explain the nature of your reservation on booking and we will authorize the booking accordingly and advise if we will require an event fee.
NOTE: We have just returned to managing the property on our own, which is why there is a gap in reviews - the home is even better than it was with the install of a new exterior and decks!
We are available 24/7 by phone to answer all your questions and we live in Clear Lake Houston (within one hour from the property). We have managed all of our properties ourselves for several years. Our co-manager is located on the island and always available.
Check-in is at 4 PM and Check out is at 11AM, however we have accommodated early check in and late checkout for our guests for NO EXTRA COST, as long as it did not interfere with other reservations.

The lower patio includes 3 built-in picnic tables, and a charcoal barbecue grill.
Rinse off in your private, outdoor shower, equipped with hot/cold water and soap dispenser.
Main level
The expansive first deck patio has a gorgeous unobstructed view of the beach, green space, and Gulf of Mexico. It has plenty of room for sunning, dining, relaxing or even Yoga. It comes equipped with comfortable deck furniture including round dining table.
Technology
We offer cable and free Wi-Fi. Enjoy cable TV or DVD's on the 65 inch flat screen ultra HD TV. The house is equipped with 3 DVD players and our personal library of DVDs and books.
First Floor
We have a huge open floor plan including the kitchen, dining and living area, all of which offer an unobstructed view of the gorgeous beach.
The living room suite has three leather couches with queen sofa beds , and chairs for extra seating. Complete with a 65”flat screen television, DVD, with dual patio door access to the spacious deck.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel dishwasher and sink, cooktop, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and stainless steel refrigerator/freezer. It's overstocked with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, pots, pans and a wide range of small appliances.
Dining has seating for eight at the table, four at the kitchen counter, with plenty more chairs and small tables in the living area as well.
The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, ceiling fan, HD TV, cable and DVD player. It has gorgeous unobstructed view of the beach. Inside the closet you will find blankets, an iron and an ironing board and luggage rack.
The master bathroom has a huge Jacuzzi tub, walk in shower , high quality bath towels and a hairdryer.
The second bedroom downstairs is equipped with a full/twin bunk and queen bunk beds that sleep 7. It has a ceiling fan, flat screen TV, and sliding door access to the deck. It also has access to the spacious second bathroom that has combination shower/tub, sink and toilet, high quality bath towels and a hairdryer.
Washer/dryer is housed on this floor.
Upper-level
Upstairs has two bedrooms. Bedroom 3 has a twin/full bunk and a queen bunk comfortably sleeping 7 persons. Bedroom 4 has two twin bunks, sleeping 4, and a ceiling fan and closet.
There is a third bathroom upstairs with a second Jacuzzi tub.
Minimum reservation 1 night on weekdays and 1-2 nights on weekends
Guest whose name is listed on the reservation must be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period. A copy of a valid ID of the primary person booking MUST be provided
House can accommodate 20 guests in our bedrooms. We will try our best to accommodate requests for early check in and late checkout.
No parties, excessive noise, or any illegal activity shall take place at property.
No smoking is allowed in or around any property
No pets allowed except with prior authorization from owner.
This property is intended for use by families. SPECIAL EVENTS MAY BE ACCEPTED ON CASE BY CASE BASIS AND WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT RATE (E.G. WEDDINGS, HOME COMINGS, PROMS, COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS RETREATS). FOR SUCH EVENTS A PRIOR AUTHORIZATION BY HOST IS NEEDED FOR ALL GUESTS PRIOR TO BOOKING. IF GUESTS FOR THESE EVENTS INSTANTLY BOOK WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM OWNER, THE RESERVATION WILL BE CANCELLED. Send an inquiry clearly describing your event and we will reply accordingly. Rates for events are per person per night depending on season and event.
Cleaning: Each property will be cleaned and inspected after your departure. Simple things like leaving the property tidy, running the dishwasher, and taking out the trash are expected of our guests.
If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $500. If any sign of smoking is discovered, Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. If any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes owner to charge a $500 fee.
