We visit Carmel area frequently. This was our first stay at Pebble Beach and it was truly memorable. My wife’s family lives nearby and our trips are a mix of exploring the beautiful surroundings as well as family get togethers. This house had several pluses: 1) beautiful views of ocean and Point Lobos, 2) perfect for afternoon/evening family visits and entertainment (we like board games and had several groups comfortably spread out enjoying games or discussions), 3) great location only minutes from beach, downtown Carmel, Point Lobos, Monterey, and 17 mile drive, and 4) large backyard for kids to enjoy themselves. The most amazing experience was a mother deer that gave birth to two babies the second night of our stay. They stayed within the fenced in area of the house and we were enjoying their company every day. Our kids called this trip a great western safari. Overall, the house is beautifully furnished and well laid out for entertainment while providing privacy for those who stay at the house.
Our family decided on Pebble Beach for spring break again this year! In the past we have stayed at the Lodge, but after researching rental properties we decided to give this property a shot.... We could not have been more pleased! The location can't be beat, the views are heavenly, but the attention to detail and care Susan has put into beautifully maintaining the original character of this home with modern touches is why we'll continue to go back again and again.
Our family stayed in this home in December 2011 and had a wonderful time. We have 3 young children and the house was very warm, comfortable and spacious - perfect for a young family. The proximity to the lodge (and everything else the area has to offer) can't be beat. Truly a 5 out of 5 star experience.
We love this home! I chose this for our wedding venue, it was perfect in every way. The home was so welcoming for us and our guests. The flow and amenities made my event design easy to implement. We stayed on afterwards for our honeymoon an easy walk to The Lodge for dining out. Julie is a joy to work with. As an event designer I do have very high standards, and this home was just what I had envisioned. We will return for other stays on the Peninsula.
We had the pleasure of staying at this property last month and we truly enjoyed it. The property has several 5 star reviews on vrbo, which is one of the factors that led us to select it in the first place. I felt compelled to write a short review myself to note that the home completely lived up to our (high) expectations. The location is perfect (it's hard to think of a better spot to be... walking distance to golf, shopping, food). The views are breathtaking. We walked in and all said, "Oh, WOW." as we looked out at the ocean. Susan was easy to interact with, she communicated promptly and she made us feel very welcome. We stay at vrbo properties regularly and we have never dealt with an owner who took such pride in making sure that every detail was absolutely perfect for our stay.
I'd recommend this property without hesitation and only wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks, Susan!!
I stayed here with four golf buddies in May and it exceeded all my expectations. You are right in the heart of the action. We walked from our homemade breakfast to the first tee at pebble and stumbled home from the Tap Room in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. House is AMAZING, would not change a thing. I have no idea why anyone would stay at one of the resorts when this is an option.

Cleaning fee is $75 every other day (approximate). Housekeeping requested or required is $25 per hour.
To pay rent, you may send checks or wire funds. Credit cards are not accepted. Rent deposits are non-refundable. Full rent is due 90 days prior to date of arrival.
