Situated on the edge of Zone 1, close to two tube stations and with frequent buses to Waterloo, Westminster and beyond, it is the perfect base for a vacation exploring London. Both tube stations are a 10-minute walk away, or take the bus and be at Tate Britain, Big Ben, or Westminster Abbey in 10-15 minutes!

The house is situated in a safe, quiet, residential street and with space to spread out and relax (a scarce commodity in most London holiday apartments) it is perfect for families, couples, or larger groups. On quiet nights you can even hear Big Ben strike and the River Thames is just a short walk away. The new American Embassy is being built nearby, very close to the impressive MI6 building.

Please note that this is a traditional British semi-detatched house, not an apartment. You occupy the whole house, so no noisy neighbours above, or below!

There is both a large supermarket

and a smaller express supermarket 5-minutes away, plus cafés, delis and restaurants, all within easy reach. There is also a gym nearby to work off the the calories.

The property has just been totally refurbished and is supplied with everything you'll need to make your stay stress free and comfortable and cut down on your luggage. There is a small, but fully loaded kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer. Upstairs, are two large bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and remote controlled ceiling fans, a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk bed and a family bathroom with bath tub and power shower. Downstairs there is a shower room, a lounge with double sofa bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a dining room (seats 8) leading out to a patio garden. A baby cot and fold out child's bed can also be supplied on request. The house is centrally heated and double

glazed. Linens, towels, bathrobes and 2 hair driers are supplied. The house sleeps 8 to 10 (8 in beds/sofabed, plus we can provide an extra fold out bed and cot)

For relaxing at night, a selection of DVDs, CDs and Xbox 360 games are available (please ask, as we like to offer age appropriate films and games), as well as books and games. Free Wi-Fi is available. Also supplied are two pay-as-you-go phones which you can top-up and use during your stay. Some basic food stuffs to get you started are included, such as tea, coffee (instant, decaff and filter), milk, bread, eggs, butter, cooking oil, olive oil and condiments. If you would like us to have your own shopping ready for you when you arrive we can arrange that for a small fee of £10, or you can order it online and have it delivered and we will put perishables in the fridge. If you have any special requirements, please let us know and

we will do our best.

Check in is 3 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m.

If you are arriving early, we can look after your luggage until check in time, so you can fit in some sightseeing. We try to be as flexible as possible with arrival and departure times.

There is a total no smoking policy in the house, but guests may smoke in the garden.

Daily parking permits can be arranged, the cost is £5 per day.

La casa es muy cómoda, confortable y acogedora, situada en un barrio muy tranquilo y bien comunicado. Con el autobús 87 llegas delante del Big Ben y con el 77 detrás del London Eye. A 15 minutos hay una parada de metro. Sus propietarios son encantadores y muy serviciales. Sin duda volveríamos y se la recomendaría a mis conocidos. Hemos estado como en casa.

Amazing

The house was very easy to reach from central London by both tube and bus. The buses are very frequent and within a very short distance from the house. There are several shops very close by as well as many good restaurants. There are loads of books in the house for ideas and Bev and Jeff are mines of information. The whole place was immaculate with lots of homely touches. They lent us two air beds which were exceptionally comfortable, this was because we were a group of 6 friends and wanted 6 sleeping areas. We were able to book out late on our final day, obviously this is dependant on no bookin that day, and leave our luggage with them. Nothing was too much trouble. And what an amazing price for a house in zone one. Thanks for a fantastic time, we will be recommending this accommodation as well as the owners who couldn't do enough for us.

Awesome!

The other reviews speak for themselves and are defintely not exaggerated. We had a great time at Bev´s and Jeff´s place, the house provides everything you need (and can imagine).

Bev and Jeff are really nice people, their house shows that they know what they do and that they do it with a lot of passion. We will come back for a visit for sure!

It's a very lovely house!!

The house is in a very convenient location, close to the subway (10 minute walk) and the bus stop which is very convenient to go to the centre of London, an it is located in a very quiet neighborhood. When we arrived Jeff and Bev were waiting in the house for explain everything about the house. In the frige there were a lot of things: eggs, bacon, bread, jam, fruit juice.... also caffè Lavazza!!!!! They provide cell phone, Oyster cards and there were a lot of DvD, books, guide of London, and games for my children too.

The house was very clean and well-appointed, with towels, bathrobes, slippers, soap and shower gel!!!

A very confortable home!

Great stay in London

When we arrived at the home in South Lambeth, the red door was so welcoming and so were Jeff and Bev! They were still wrapping up the cleaning, but they offered us tea, we sat on the outdoor patio and they took our bags up to our rooms. After they were done, they sat and visited with us, going over many ideas for tourists in London, went over laundry, stove, phone use etc. They even had eggs, bread and jam in the refrigerator for us for our first breakfast!!

Overall, the stay was very nice, the only thing I would give as an item for improvement is the two double beds upstairs may be ready for new mattresses. You could hear and feel the springs when you sat down and when sleeping. This wasn't enough to change the positive review, just a note for Jeff and Bev...

They also had Oyster Cards for us to use and a drawer full of tourist materials, popular attractions etc.

Great for a family and a quick bus stop and transfer to all the tourist spots, or an inexpensive UBER if you don't want to mess with a foreign countries transportation system, lol.

Super Sejour à Londres

Nous revenons d'un séjour de 5 nuits à Londres où nous étions 10 personnes : 6 adultes et 4 enfants. Nous avons logés dans cette belle maison située non loin de la station de métro Vauxhall ( 1,2 km env). Le logement est parfait, très bien équipés même pour 10 personnes. Les propriétaires nous ont absolument tout expliqué en arrivant ( ils habitent juste à côté) sur le fonctionnement des appareils, chauffage, ...comment se rendre dans le centre de Londres...

Cette maison est équipée de 2 salles de bain et de 3 chambres. Les propriétaires avaient installés deux matelas gonflables pour les 2 lits supplémentaires, ce qui fût parfait.

Le secteur est très calme. Un supermarché est situé à quelques mètres de la maison donc super pour les courses.

Nous avons adorés et nous recommandons vivement cette maison.
