Eagles Nest Village consists of 3 different homes that are located on the same property. The main home (Eagles Nest) is a spacious 3-bedroom home that can accommodate up to 9 people. A two-bedroom home (Coyote Cabin) is located behind the main home and has beds for 5. The third property is an efficiency cottage (Chickadee Cottage) that contains a queen bed, a hide-a-bed, small kitchen and small bathroom. This rental is for all three properties. It is a great location for a family reunion, or a multi-family get together.
Families and friends can enjoy time together on the over-sized deck at Eagles Nest yet have time alone in their own cabin. You won't find many properties like this!
The property has nice creek frontage on pristine Pine Creek.
Eagles Nest contains a full kitchen, dining room with seating for 12, spacious living room and a nice bar area. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms with window air conditioners. The master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed. The 2nd bedroom also contains a queen-sized bed and a twin bed. The 3rd bedroom contains a full-sized bed. Each floor has a full bathroom. The upstairs bathroom contains a shower as well as a washer and dryer. The first-floor bathroom contains a bathtub. Eagles Nest has an oversized deck that is great for enjoying outdoor meals or relaxing with friends and family.
Coyote Cabin has a nice size living room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with a shower and washer and dryer and a deck overlooking Pine Creek. There is a window air conditioner in the living room and ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. There are steps behind the main property that lead to this home.
Chickadee Cottage is located a bit further out back. This is an efficiency cottage that can sleep up to 4 but is more comfortable with 2. There is a queen-sized bed and a pull-out couch. There is parking available near all of the homes, so it is easy to load and unload your belongings.
The rental season runs from May - December.
Fishing season opens in April! The creek is stocked with trout and there are several great fishing holes in the immediate area.
Pine Creek is great for rafting, canoeing and kayaking in the spring and occasionally during the summer months. The creek level raises and lowers quickly so be sure to check the water level when planning your outdoor activities. Pine Creek Outfitters has a great website that links to river level readings. The cabin is close to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon which has great hiking trails and picturesque views. Cherry Springs State Park is approximately 30 minutes away and has been named as a "dark sky" area. There are great stargazing opportunities there.
Summer months are great for floating in an inner tube on the creek, relaxing on the deck, sitting around a campfire, pitching horseshoes and much more!
