Thank you for all the testimonials from the previous guests ( a few shown below). Look forward to talking with you in the future .... Regards Richard and Marrianne
****We have had the pleasure of staying at Casa Bianca at Lake Macquarie twice now. The house is waterfront with a big back lawn for kids to play on or just laze around on.
The view from the back veranda is picture perfect and the tranquillity can’t help but seep into your body when you look out onto the lake. You well and truly know you’ve left the City behind.
The boys loved the canoe and surf ski, which was a welcome change to seeing them with their heads in their electronic gadgets.
The house is very well equipped with board games, books and DVDs. In fact everything you need to spend time together.
I found that Casa Bianca is better equipped in the kitchen department than most holiday houses with lots of cutlery, crockery, cook and glassware, so you can actually cook a meal just like at home.
Another bonus is the helpfulness of the hosts. They know the area well and are very generous with their advice on where to shop, what to see and where to eat.
For anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet spot in a well equipped house, I can definitely recommend this holiday house and location. In fact I’m certain you too will visit more than once. Sophie Robertson January 2014
**** Our stay at Casa Bianca with our children and grandchildren for Easter 2013 was so very enjoyable. The house is modern and with every convenience for a wonderful quiet family holiday. All linen, utensils and ammenities were in good order and very clean. When we were'nt fishing or boating we went for walks along the beautiful shores of Lake Macquarie enjoying the perfect peace and quiet away from bustling city life. The well kept lawn from the house to the waterfront was so nice for the children to play outside on and the sandy foreshore was a bonus. Our grandsons aged 9 & 13 enjoyed learning to row in the dinghy provided and loved fishing off the nearby jetty. There was so much natural beauty surrounding us it was good to see the boys enjoying the simple things of life away from their digital games etc. We are all looking forward to the next time we stay at Casa Bianca and watch the sunset on the lake from the deck of the house(where we seemed to spend most of our time). The little village shops have everything you need so you can just walk down for provisions and need not think of leaving the peaceful hamlet of Mannering Park. From Pamela April 2013
**** This was truly a very memorable holiday home! Our hosts were beautiful in terms of their welcoming advice and helps. The home is absolutely beautiful! With a spacious backyard, and under cover patio, the view can be enjoyed in rain hail or sunshine! With the affordable rate, this was the best place in terms of cost effectiveness in the lake macq! **** We've just spent a lovely week at "Casa Bianca"- and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the home to be well-presented, clean and comfortable, and situated in a lovely, quiet location- well suited for families. We enjoyed relaxing with a cuppa at the outdoor setting, overlooking the beautiful reserve and lake; and especially loved the little sandy beach and seats by the water's edge- perfect for wading, swimming, boating, or just sitting. Casa Bianca had everything my family wanted. We were all disappointed to have to leave and are looking forward to our next stay. From Cathy January 2013
