The condo was great! The owner, Kim, was very helpful and actually let us stay a night longer because we were unable to get there the day we were supposed to because of highway weather closures due to heavy snow. The condo was very clean and looked just like the pictures online. The living area and open kitchen were wonderful for our family with adult children. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need. Comfortable seating area in the living room and nice bar to sit at in the kitchen. The fireplace was awesome! The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable beds. Very nice area for storing skis/boards and all gear in the entry. The brown(free) bus line to the ski areas(peak 9, gondola) stops right in front of the parking lot. You can walk to quicksilver too, if you want. Also, in walking distance to Main Street. This was a very nice condo in a great location. Would definitely stay here again! The skiing was great too! Highly recommend this rental.
Five of us spent a fantastic week at this great condo, super close to Peak 9 base and an easy walk to town for dinner/drinks/shopping. There's even a bus that stops a little down the road if you want to go to the Gondola or further afield.
The condo itself has possibly the widest array of kitchen equipment I have ever seen in a rental, plenty of towels and linen and an area to store your ski equipment - no need to leave it in a drying room. It's a very warm place, amazing given that it got as cold as -18F while we were there and furnished comfortably. Shower pressure was good, with plenty of hot water.
I'd highly recommend a stay here.
We have been coming to Breckenridge for 20+ years. The condo was as advertised and more. The three bedroom, two bath was a perfect fit for the five of us. It is a well decorated, stylish, homey, condo. We walked to the ski slopes to "warm up" in the morning, and took the shuttle, which stops in front of the condo, in the afternoon. The unit is very quiet. Never heard other guests! The kitchen is the best stocked one we have ever encountered. The owner was great in communicating with us, almost immediately, if we had any questions. Highly recommend it. Easy access to the town and restaurants. Great vacation!
We enjoyed our stay and the condo was very nice and comfortable for our group. We used the bus system to peak 9 and peak 7 during our stay. Perfect snow greeted us day 1&2 and warm sun day 3. Couldn't ask for a better skiing week. Just remember to say mill run for the bus home bc not all drivers know Tamarisk:) Short walk to hot tubs and pool, nice changing area and showers there to rinse off. Kitchen is well stocked to cook dinner if you like to stay in and take it easy like us. Thanks Kim!
We are 4 middle aged professional ladies for a girls getaway.
The owner was initially was awesome, the location and amenities were great....until we returned and we received an email from the Damage Insurance Representative stating the owner Kim put a claim in against for a missing cutting board $75 and damaging a shower door $641.88. We were shocked, we thought it was a mistake, that they had sent the email to the wrong people.
First we never saw a cutting board and second the shower door was not broken, it did not slide properly when we go there -is all. There was also a mark on the inside of the tub, where the insurance adjuster said was from coming off the track and we advised that was there upon our arrival.
She later said, after we questioned the cutting board, that if could have been missing two renters before us! Yeah I don't think us ladies are going to steal a cutting board that we never saw and are flying back home.
Yet she still made the claim against us as we purchased the insurance.
In reference to the shower door, it did not slide properly when we got there and there was a black mark in the tub which would have been pre-existing damage. They think it slid off previously to our arrival. Thus again... not anything we did.
All 4 of us ladies were upset we had to deal with that upon our return and for something we didn't do and confirmed. The claim was confirmed and denied as pre-existing damage. lt really was a rude awakening that someone would file a fraudulent claim against us, it certainly has tainted the idea of any of us further renting from any individual/company in the future. I will pay more next time and stay in a hotel, just NOT to go through this again.
Incidentally, the owner said her cleaning people said - that the rental was the cleanest they ever found the unit after someone checked out and we did an awesome job cleaning before we left.
The condo was great and very well maintained! Provided everything we needed and more. Very conveniently located. Only a short walk to the peak 9 lift and Breckenridge village. Communication with property manager was great. Highly recommend and would be happy to stay at this place again.
