Fishing in Australia's largest saltwater lake, access to Fishing Point Reserve is 150m, I go off the rocks and pick up some nice bream, flatties, squire, flounder and leather jackets sometimes :)

Fishing Point is situated on Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest salt water lake. 1 hour drive from the Sydney beginning of the F3 , take the Morriset off ramp.
Fishing Point Lake House is overlooking Eraring Bay towards Wangi Wangi (South aspect) which is about 3 Km across water.
Great spot, the house is the classic weekender cottage with all its charms. The house has a lakeside feel with everything you need for a relaxing break. Great views.

1 blanket each and bedspreads. 8 pillows. 1 Queen , 4 singles. Linen packs available for additional fee per person.
2 Futon sofas (form into 2 additional double beds, linen not supplied) on the large L shaped sunroom overlooking the lake.

Cottage L shaped kitchen with granite benchtops, new LPG gas stove, microwave and banquet size electric frypan, wok and outside gas BBQ. Crockery, cutlery, cookware, utensils and glassware. Upside down fridge (also beery fridge in The Shed). Outside gas BBQ from the paved covered patio.
1 bathroom with bath and shower over bath.
Laundry and separate toilet with access through bathroom or from the rear patio outside. Has a new 5.5 Kg top loader washing machine.
Lounge with 40" HD Digital LCD TV and DVD player. Front bedroom (with single beds has a 68 cm TV which has digital freeview channels, (GO, One HD etc) and DVD player.

Walk 150m to Fishing Point Reserve, you can fish from the rocks, I have scored squire, bream, flatties, and flounder, there on occasions :)

Rathmines shops 2 Km -IGA Minimart, Takeaway, Newsagency, Cafe / restaurant, Chinese Rest., Bowling Club, Bottleshop, Service station, pharmacy, ATM.
Wangi Wangi is 5Km and has a variety of shops, cafes, clubs and a pub.
Toronto is 7 Km, with Coles, Woolies, Aldi and a variety of shops, banks etc)
Lock up single car garage with workshop. Large block of land, ample parking for cars and boats. Nearest Boat ramp with public jetty is 1Km. Kiaben Bay also has a boat ramp and jetty which is 3.5Km north of the property. Rathmines has lovely waterfront parklands, playgrounds and a concrete walking/bike track, which is 2.5 Km north of the property.
