Centrally located to lake Daylesford and scenic walking tracks, Gaye's Retreat is the ideal base from which to explore the township with all it's galleries, interesting shops, funky cafe's,highly rated restaurants, beer and wine bars or simply unwind and relax.

After a day spent exploring Daylesford return to cosy, welcoming Gayes Retreat and take in the brilliant stars and moon from the large decking at the rear of the house.

Christmas in July at Daylesford in recent years has been accompanied by light snow falls. A lovely time of the year to enjoy the local cuisine, warm atmosphere with that special person. Or prepare your own meal by utilising either the Weber Q or the fan forced oven in the kitchen. The roomy indoor lounge, dining and large decking areas are great for entertaining.
