O equipamento inclui forno, fogão, microondas, cafeteira, torradeira, geladeira / freezer, lava-louça, máquina de lavar, TV de LCD, DVD e caixa de Sky. Acesso à Internet sem fios também está disponível. A segurança é fornecida. Todos os quartos têm ar condicionado, ventiladores de teto, vidros duplos e varandas. This was our first visit to Barbados and our first time renting a vacation home. We had all the first time worries, were the people honest, would we get the property as shown. We had a perfect holiday. The home owners provided excellent customer service, everything from good communication, good instructions to a care package upon our arrival which was greatly appreciated. The home was exactly as shown. We were met by Sandra who made us feel like family and we were reassured to have someone there for us when we needed anything. We felt very much at home. The home was very clean, well maintained, well stocked with everything you could want or need. The beds were comfortable and we liked that there was a bathroom for each room. The home is in a great family community and we loved waking with the roosters and going to bed with the bats. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive and depart from our balcony. The beach access was very close and very beautiful. The bus stop was at the end of the drive and since we did not rent a vehicle, very convenient. We really enjoyed the island. People are very friendly and we felt very safe. We did an island tour, saw Harrison's caves, the nature reserve, a segway tour, Oiston's and a sailling day to swim with fish and the turtles which was a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed buying local food from the fish markets, bakeries and open markets. We enjoyed eating out at Just Grillin' in nearby Holetown but for the most part enjoyed grilling at home on the balcony. So, would we recommend this property to anyone.. we would like to say no and keep this gem all to ourselves but cannot. We gladly and highly recommend both this home and the home owner as our experience was top notch. We would definately come back and without hesitation rent this property again.
Sandown 6 was, by far, the best holiday we have ever had. What makes this an exceptional holiday destination is quite simply the superb family house that caters for all and the proximity to a beautiful beach.
The property description was accurate and the owners were very friendly and provided us with ample information. This resulted in a seamless booking and fantastic holiday.
We will, without doubt, be returning to Sandown 6.
We recently returned from the ideal two week holiday in Barbados. It was our first time there, but we will most definitely be returning in the near future (and would gladly book at Hummingbird 6 again).
We have stayed at other villas around the world, but our overall experience at this villa was simply perfect to say the least (it felt like a second home). It has everything that one would need to have an enjoyable stay (it really is fully "stocked"). The location is excellent with numerous stores, restaurants, and exceptional beaches all close by (Mullins was one of our favorites). Our children (ages 5 and 3) loved the pool and the little garden area (great for "hunting" tree frogs and lizards) and there was enough space in the villa for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped (play zones were important for us).
Our children loved going out with the local drive master and snorkeling with the sea turtles (this is a must do in our opinion - and diving with him must be even better - but with the littles ones we had to settle for the former).
Everyone was extremely friendly and we appreciated all of their help when we had any queries about what to do or where to go. We also felt safe at all times, but one must also use common sense (as with traveling to any other location).
Even the beach across the street was very enjoyable for those days when one didn't want to drive anywhere (there are a lot of little crabs for the children to watch or chase).
One could go up the street to stay in Sany Lane, but for the money this place can't be beat.
Sandown 6 is probably the best villa we stayed in. The description, location, facilities were very accurate and we could not of asked for a better place to stay. There is beach a step away but sometimes we chose to stay by the communal pool by the villa. Very safe area, and the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean, and a cleaner came once a week. We did hire a car but sometimes we did use local transport with a bus stop on our door step. There are shops, supermarkest etc all 5 mins by car or bus from the villa which was perfect. The cliff restaurant and other local restaurants are all in the area. We also did the Safari adventure attraction and they met us by our villa.
I would recommend this villa to family and friends. What you see in the pictures is what you get and more. I miss waking up in the morning, making breakfast and eating on the balcony with the sun shinning. Then later going for a swim.
I love this villa so much that I really hope it's available every time I visit Barbados.

From the time we arrived until the day we left everything was top notch!
The description and pictures were accurate; the friendly helpful service we received from the permanent residents was a class act.
What impressed me the most was how CLEAN the entire villa was; the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and all the appliances were well maintained.
My children were so comfortable with their surrounding that they started to call the villa their home; I must say we really felt like this was a “home away from home”.
I would recommend 6 Sandown to anyone traveling to Barbados and I can’t wait to return on my next visit.
We have just returned from a week at Sandown 6. We have stayed in villas all over the world and this was probably the best yet. The fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. The owners even left us a pay as you go local mobile phone which was extremely helpful.
The description included in the property details was accurate - it is walking distance to the beach, there is a good shared pool, it felt very safe and there were people around to help if you needed it.
It is positioned in a very attractive part of Barbados close to great beaches and good facilities. A good supermarket is close by.
Our favourite trip was when we went snorkelling with the turtles from a beach just down the road from Sandown 6. It was magical.
So, a great trip and a great place to stay if you are going there.
