The house has a living room with a well appointed veranda with sea view, a double bedroom on the ground floor. with walk-in closet, a mezzanine that opens onto the living room with 2 beds (1 double and 1 sofa bed). Two bathrooms, one with a shower and a back porch for dining.
Within a radius of 30 km. from the village you can reach: to the east, the famous towns of Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo, Baia Sardinia, and just after Olbia, S. Teodoro and the island of Tavolara, to the west, in just over half an hour, you arrive at S. Teresa di Gallura, with the enchanting and wild Capo Testa and the Valle della Luna with its unforgettable sunsets. Always from S. Teresa is possible, with frequent connections, to reach the port of Bonifacio, with its white cliffs, and Porto Vecchio, in nearby Corsica.
From Palau, depart daily trips by sea to La Maddalena, and unforgettable trips in the archipelago with the coves set on the islet of Spargi, the pink beach on the island of Budelli, up to the Manto della Madonna a S. Maria. Just above Palau you can visit the famous Roccia Dell'Orso.

Palau, near the famous Costa Smeralda, is the main access point for the La Maddalena archipelago. Along the coast alternate sandy beaches with stretches of granite rock, the beach of Sciumara, the beaches of Porto Faro close to the pine forest and the beach of Palau Vecchio, the peninsula of Coluccia, with the great beach of Isola dei Gabbiani.
Just outside the village you can visit the Fortress of Monte Altura, a military fort built between 1887 and 1889.
Going on you reach Punta Sardinia where Porto Rafael is located with its beautiful little square and the marina for yachts and pleasure boats.
Always near Palau is La Roccia dell'Orso, a granite hill about 130 meters high. that the wind and the atmospheric agents have shaped giving the rock the famous bear shape. Bear that is also reported on the flag of the municipality.
The most important religious festival in the country is that of Santa Maria delle Grazie which takes place in the first week of September, and ends with the procession to the sea.
Every year, on the Isola dei Gabbiani, windsurfing and Kitesurfing competitions are held. In Porto Rafael, the Punta Sardegna Yacht Club and the Costa Smeralda Yacht Club organize the sailing regatta every year: Formenton Trophy.
