Welcome to our TIKI Cottage! You will love the "Old Florida" charming cottages that are located directly on Lemon Bay. Ours is facing West looking at the Bay. Completely being remodeled and decorated. Porch has been enclosed to further add to our interior space. Like fishing? Lemon Bay has some of the best world class fishing in Florida. Fish right from our new dock. Walking distance to Dearborn Street, also known as Old Englewood. Farmers Market every Thursday. Festivals weekly. Like beaches? Only 5 minute drive across Lemon Bay to Englewood Beach. 25 minutes to Venice Beach. 20 minutes to Venice. Boca Grande only 30 minutes.

Freshly Restored and Remodeled and Clean, Clean, Clean!

Our cottage is very well appointed. 1 BR, 1 Bath (shower), Sleeps 2, Queen Bed, Living Room with 40 inch Samsung, WiFi, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove, Oven, Microwave, Washer/Dryer, Enclosed porch. Wrap around Deck, Heated and updated Pool, Dock, Tiki Bar, Thatch Roof Tiki Hut with picnic table and large deck and chairs at waters edge and bonfire pit. Cottage includes one parking space. No trailers or extra vehicles allowed. We have guest day parking if you have a visitor stop by.

Pool was resurfaced in 2019. New Tiki Hut built in 2021. New dock 2019. New Pool Equipment and Pool Deck 2021.

Ours is one of only 13 cottages.

NO SMOKING or VAPING in cottage.
NO PETS

We love pets but it's not worth the hassle of damage and deposits. We also do not want to affect the next guests who may have pet allergies. So whatever type of reason you need to have a pet it's a no.

Best sunsets anywhere. West facing.

Beauty on the Bay

Location. Location. Location...this little beauty has it all. Close to shopping, beaches and walking distance to Old Englewood shops, restaurants and Thursday Market. This cottage is located in "Tiki on the Bay", a small enclave of similar cottages that share a swimming pool. It has recently been beautifully renovated from top to bottom to create a warm and inviting beachy feel...new comfy furnishings, large well designed kitchen, beautiful shower...the list goes on and on. Then there is the Bay! A wharf to fish from or tie up your boat and a dock to sit on to watch the eagles, dolphins, manatees and the best place to watch spectacular sunsets. Top this off with attentive hosts Kent and Penny who were always only a call or text away and ready to share their knowledge of local restaurants and attractions to help make your stay as perfect as possible.

Beautiful sunsets on the bay

We had a wonderful stay. Short distance to the beaches. Beautiful sunsets in the bay. Dolphins and manatee from the dock. The cottage was very clean and nice.

A perfect little piece of Paradise!

What a lovely location for just relaxing or keeping busy with nearby attractions and activities! The cottage is relatively small, but cute, beachy and clean and had everything we could possibly need (including laundry facilities!) The owners were quick to answer any questions and provide ideas and recommendations. From the cottage, it's just an easy walk to historic Dearborn St. with its restaurants and shops, farmer's market (Thursday a.m.), and car show on the first Saturday of each month. We also found we had easy access to the surrounding cities of Sarasota, Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and Boca Grande. We were able to watch manatees and fish from the dock, access nearby beaches, rent kayaks /boats, and visit state parks, museums, rookeries, and local tours. There was never an end to the list of things to do, we just ran out of time! We also took time to relax, swim in the heated pool, and have cocktails on our own private deck while watching the gorgeous sunsets over Lemon Bay! Wish we had more vacation time!

Extremely clean and well equipped. Location on Lemon Bay is beautiful and well kept up. Ideal for couples. I can’t wait to return.

ENGLEWOOD VACATION/ HOUSE HUNTING

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE POOL BEING CLOSED FOR REPAIR. WE NEVER SAW ANYONE WORKING ON IT THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A NICE PLACE TO STAY AND VERY CLOSE TO THE BEACH.

We are currently Michigan residents and bought this charming cottage on Lemon Bay to use for ourselves and for others to enjoy. We fell in love with the "Old Florida" charming cottages each with their own unique Florida exterior colors. Once we saw the spectacular sunsets, manatees and dolphins right next to the dock, we were sold. If you like a quiet yet fun place that is close to everything, this is for you. The cottage is quaint (500 sq ft) yet everything fits well. We have an extra large walk-in large closet for your luggage. Don't be surprised if the neighbors invite you down to the waters edge for a crab boil. Many guests of the cottages have come back year after year.

Englewoods restaurants, beaches and laid back vibe. It's not a heavy traffic area and a great place to walk or ride a bike around. Dearborn Street, which is walking distance from the cottage has many restaurants and shops to visit. Englewood Beach is only a 5 minute drive across the Bay. Nothing better than your morning coffee or tea sitting in a chair on the sundeck by the water or take a walk to Dearborn Street.

You will love the view of the Lemon Bay. The mornings and afternoons are great for kicking back in the Lanai or on the sundeck waterside or go for a swim in the heated pool. The evening sunsets are amazing no matter if you're hanging out in the cottage or sitting on the deck. The fishing from the dock is great too.
