Amazing Spring Break Get-Away!
We had a blast at Casa de Paz over our spring break! The house was plenty big for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids. The pool was a hit; it was very pricey to have it heated but definitely necessary in March and the kids spent a lot of time in it so it was worth it in the end. The community amenities were also great - on a rainy day we watched a movie at the clubhouse and most afternoons were spent at the nearby beach, swimming in the community pool, or playing pickleball on the tennis courts. We loved the "nanny suite" having a separate entrance from the rest of the house. Our only complaint is that there were fines issued for many things - if the garbages weren't brought in by a specific time, if the noise was too loud, if there were more than two cars in a driveway, if anyone parked at the community center over night, if a golf cart was in the yard, and the fine that we got - a $50 fine for having 2 of our car's tires on the edge of the grass in our driveway. (We had rented a 6-seater golf cart and couldn't get it into the garage with our two SUVs parked in the driveway; our solution was to park them just far enough apart to get the cart through and into the garage, resulting in the tires being about 3 inches on the grass). It seems like a problem that could have easily been solved by just knocking on our door and letting us know this wasn't allowed rather than giving us a ticket.). Other than that, everything else was wonderful!
