On the ground floor an entrance hall with storage leads into a bright and spacious open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen area. This open plan area is bright and spacious with large floor to ceiling double height windows. The modern kitchen is well equipped providing all you need for a very comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. You and your guests can enjoy hot drinks at a touch of a button with our TASSIMO Vivy coffee machine.

The living room has comfortable sofas and a large smart flatscreen TV with highspeed internet. You can access Netflix via your own personal account, YouTube and a range of other apps. If you book one of our holiday lodges you will have access to over 20 digital channels. A great place to relax with family and friends after day exploring the many scenic sights and local attractions in East Cork.

Sunlight fills the ground floor area which overlooks the rear walled garden or large green areas. Access the large patio area and open garden via double glass doors and enjoy alfresco dining.

Lodges Location on Castlemartyr ResortOur 2 & 3 bed lodges are situated in the walled garden, a 6 to 8-minute walk from the main hotel. Our holiday lodges are a great accommodation option for guests attending a hotel function or wedding in Castlemartyr Hotel. The lodges are situated in the grounds of the former orchards and greenhouses with many of the features still present. The area is also home to one of Ireland’s oldest trees, “The Cork Tree” located in the South West corner of the walls. Our holiday lodges are less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel spa, bar and many on-site hotel facilities.

Our 2 and 3 bed holiday mews’ are situated beside the main hotel and within the grounds of the 12th Century Castle. Another favourite is Fota Wildlife Park, 17 km from our holiday accommodation in Castlemartyr, making them the perfect choice for a family holiday in Ireland.

Visit Ballymaloe Restaurant and Café (8km) run by the Allen Family, set deep within lush countryside and serves delicious home food grown and sourced locally.
