The property overlooks Apes Hill golf course and is bordered by a gully with it's own troop of monkeys. The cool breeze and gully vistas make Four Palms the ideal getaway for those seeking peace and quiet. The accommodation is a self-contained flat, located on the ground floor of a family home, so you are never too far away from some local hints & tips.
Description of accommodation
The flat is suitable for a couple or two singles, as there is a sofa bed in addition to the double bedroom. There is a full kitchen and provisioning can be provided on request. The flat also has separate dining area and lounge that opens onto the garden. From the living room you have direct access to the pool area where the therapeutics jets can massage your cares away. There is also plenty green space where you can enjoy the sunshine.
Location
The house is only 10 minutes drive from the West Coast beaches and amenities as well as being closely situated to the St Andrew conservation area. Due to its central location Four Palms is perfect for exploring the many varied attractions Barbados has to offer, Airport transfers take approximately 40 minutes and are available on request.
There is a four night minimum for this property.

Wonderful stay at 4 Palms

We had a week at this lovely and peaceful apartment following a 10 day stay down on the West Coast. This apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed and it was extremely enjoyable to chill in the garden and around the pool in between travelling around the island. A car is necessary for this accommodation. Selvi and Ian are lovely hosts and so helpful too. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the monkeys play and graze in the garden at dusk. We also enjoyed lovely walks over the Apes Hill golf course, which adjoins the property and has amazing views of both sides of the island. I would thoroughly recommend this property and the hosts, who are helpful but not at all intrusive. Thank you Selvi and Ian - we hope to be back!

wonderful place

This was one of the most beautiful accommodations we have ever visited, everything is there, nothing is left to be desired. We really enjoyed our time away from the tourist hustle and bustle. If necessary, you can be on the beach in a short time. We grilled fresh fish almost every evening and Selvi is the best host you could wish for.

Chilled getaway.

Just what we needed. From the start we made an easy journey from the airport straight to Four Palms and we were welcomed by Selvi who showed us round our accommodation for the stay. Everything we could need was there including a few essentials in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The facilities were clean and spacious and the outdoor space perfect for catching the sun or sitting in the shade. The dip in the pool cooled us nicely after our journey and our first night's sleep was perfect in the kingsize bed. The setting is amazingly blissfull. A lovely breeze makes relaxing easy. There is a short journey to reach Holetown for provisions and lots of bars and restaurants and of course the beaches! Selvi guided us to eateries and we particularly enjoyed Caboose cutters and rum punch. We highly recommend a stay at Four Palms as it was perfect. We will be back to stay for longer next time!

Lovely house on the hill

We had an amazing 6 night stay at the four palms. The house is bright and breezy with a nice exterior to relax - pool / gardens. Just what you need for 2 people! The grounds and the views are even better that the photos! Also note that car hire is essential. Thank you Selvi and Ian (for the rum punches as well) :)

Wonderful and peaceful stay

The property is set back from the hustle and bustle with a cooling island breeze. A peaceful haven to retreat to after exploring the island and only a 10 minute drive from some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Selvi and Ian were super helpful and discreet, I would recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

Four Palms is an oasis of calm, but still close to Holetown on the west coast. It has the feel of the countryside but is not too far from some lovely beaches. The house is also conveniently placed for access to Turner's Hall Woods ("the most undisturbed and species-rich plant environment in Barbados") and the East Coast.

The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard and now includes a pool with jets and a "tanning ledge." There are a variety of outdoor spaces and for those who like golf Apes Hill is next door.
