Wunderschöner Urlaub in Torremolinos

Juni 2009 haben wir einen wunderschönen 2 wöchigen Urlaub in Torremolinos gehabt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet (incl. Spielzeuge für den Pool für die Kinder). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Grünanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und der Pool ist sehr sauber. Die Wohnung ist Familien mit Kindern zu empfehlen: Erdgeschoßlage mit eigener Terasse. Torremolinos ist ein schöner und nicht überteuerter Familienurlaubsort, den wir bestimmt wieder besuchen werden und selbstverständlich diese Wohnung erneut mieten würden.

Angaben zur Ferienwohnung sind korrekt.

Der Strand ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar, ca. 10 Min.

Wer nicht ausschließlich Strandurlaub machen möchte, sollte ein Mietwagen ernsthaft in Erwägung ziehen, denn auch das Umland ist sehr empfehlenswert (Malaga, Benalmadena, Ronda,.....)

Gastronomie ist in allen Preisklassen ausreichend vorhanden.

Resposta do proprietário: Wir freuen uns sehr, dass die Wohnung Familiengerecht ist, da dieses unser Ziel ist. Sie ist sehr einfach ausgestattet, ohne komplizierte Geräte, die von kleinen Kindern beschädigt werden könnten. Andererseits gibt es alles was man braucht um einen ausruhenden Urlaub zu verbringen mit dem Luxus eines privaten Patios im Erdgeschoss, vom grünen des Gartens umhüllt. Wir, zusammen mit unseren Kindern, haben immer unsere Mahlzeiten in relativer Ruhe auf dem Patio genossen, nur mit dem zwitschern der Vögeln. Am Abend, wenn die Kinder schon im Bett liegen, einen Glas Wein auf dem Patio und das Parfum der 'dame de noche' Blumen in der Nacht … Kommen Sie und genießen Sie …

Good apartment in good location

Well kept grounds with attended swimming pool

Large patio ideal for relaxing breakfast and late night wine.

Owner appreciates in need of slight upgrade but this did not affect overall enjoyment of holiday.

Everything we needed was no more than 15mins, beach, supermarkets,waterpark and restaurants.

Resposta do proprietário: Luckily the apartment is effectively well-located, near all the amenities yet far from mass-tourist high-rises. Our gardener always keeps the grounds in tip-top condition, taking particular care with the plants and flowers which are always in bloom around our patio. If you visit the flat in late autumn and winter you will also be able to enjoy the beautifully red Poinsettia tree, which we usually only have in small vases back home. The large tree on the lawn outside the patio is incredible! As mentioned in other reviews, we are gradually upgrading the furniture as well as the kitchen appliances: latest acquisition a brand new washing machine!

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!

Die Wohnung liegt etwas abseits von den Massenabfertigungs-Hotels, was wir sehr angenehm fanden.

Insgesamt war die Wohnung zwar mit altem Mobiliar ausgestattet, aber dennoch sehr gemütlich und passend für 2 Pärchen oder für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern (2 Schlafzimmer).

Die Küche war zwar ebenfalls mit eher altem Geschirr ausgestattet, aber voll funktionsfähig und mit allem ausgestattet,was man benötigt. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden.

Die Wohnung hatte eine große übers Eck gehende Terrasse, die wundervoll war um dort zu frühstücken und abendzuessen. Auch die Gartenanlage drumherum war schön hergerichtet.

Toll fanden wir auch, dass Bettwäsche und sogar Handtücher zur Verfügung standen.

Von der Wohnung aus sind Strand (im Übrigen wunderschön) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Bäcker, Obst- u Gemüsehändler, Apotheke) gut zu Fuß zu erreichen (ca. 7-10 min). Einige Restaurants sind ebenfalls in der Nähe (ca. 5-7 min). Auch die Innenstadt kann man zu Fuß erreichen (ca. 20 min).

Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, hat schnell auf Emails geantwortet und hat für einen reibungslosen Ablauf der Urlaubsplanung gesorgt. Sie ist sehr zuvorkommend und versucht einem entgegen zu kommen, so hat sie uns z.B. ermöglicht, am Abreisetag bis länger in der Wohnung zu bleiben, da wir erst abends zurückgeflogen sind.

Abschließend kann gesagt werden, dass hier einfach das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Es handelt sich um keine Luxuswohnung, sehr wohl aber um eine gemütliche, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, die verhältnismäßig günstig ist.

An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank an die Vermieterin für den angenehmen, reibungslosen Ablauf. Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden.

Perfect family accommodation

We have travelled a lot as a family with three children, but this apartment was one of the best family accommodation we have come across. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well maintained and the large private patio really was the icing on the cake. Every morning we had breakfast on the patio and if we didn't feel like going out in the evening, we enjoyed our suppers on the patio as well. Just outside the apartment there is a superb swimming pool with a smaller paddling pool for young children. The location of the apartment is simply superb, just a short walk to the most beautiful beach with palm trees, as well as the town centre with all the shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes etc. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of holidaying in Torremolinos.

It is very simple and basic without any complicated sophisticated equipment that may risk being damaged by little children. On the other hand there are all the ingredients for a comfortable easygoing relaxing holiday with the luxury of a ground floor patio immersed in the green flowery condominium gardens. We, together with our children, have always enjoyed meals on the patio in relative peace and only the chirping of birds. In the evenings, with the children in bed, a glass of wine on the patio and the scent of the 'dame de noche' flowers at night. Come and enjoy …

Mrs Brodar's aprt in Torremolinos review

In general it is a good apartment. The area is quiet and nice. There is enough space for a family (4 people). Lot of facilities are there. And finaly the price is correct.

Problems/weaknesses: sofa should be changed and also beds which are too soft. There is no A/C, no dish and no wash machine!

Resposta do proprietário: The apartment was completely refurbished (new flooring, walls, new doors, electrical wiring and plumbing) in 2003, however the furniture remains the same as before and it is our intention to renew it gradually. Meanwhile there is a washing machine and most of the kitchen appliances are fairly new. In effect the price should be in proportion with the quality of the service and I am happy it has been deemed to be right.

I would recommend this flat.

Although close to a main road ,the property was on a side road which meant that we were in a quiet location..I found it was certainly big enough for us and only about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the lovely beach. The swimming pool was good and my children enjoyed it a lot.The small bar in the main building served food and fairly priced drinks.

There was a large supermarket about five minutes walk away so we were always well stocked with food and lovely wines !! Other shops were situated on the way to the beach

We went in August but did not find the complex overcrowded at all, although air conditioning/fans would have helped as we had to close the windows at night due to mozzies in the area.

Overall I was impressed with the accommondation and would book again. Torremolinos is much better than expected although you must be careful with your location as it is obviously busy/loud in places. We were lucky.

PS If going to Gibraltar ,go on the delux type trip as only a few hotels are visited on th eway down. It took us 3 hours to do the 50 mile journey as we seemed to stop at every hotel on the way! It's worth the extra few euros.

Resposta do proprietário: I highly appreciate this detailed review also including useful information regarding how best to visit sights in the surrounding areas. It is a simple spacious flat in a quiet location with all the amenities mentioned and effectively close to everything except the busy / loud places. I shall consider some fans for summer evenings although usually it is very breezy and therefore mosquitoes do not tend to linger. The climate might be changing, however. I generally recommend this flat for families as it offers a lot for all age groups from toddlers to teenagers and older. I hope to see you again some day.
