To the outside is off road parking for three cars and a garden with patio, furniture, barbecue, shed and summer house. Resting in a beautiful location with much to admire, Wrens Nest is a heart-warming cottage in an excellent part of England.

Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was the quietest place under the sun and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: Hopton Wafers is a welcoming village with a traditional pub offering homemade food and provides an ideal base to visit and explore the county of Shropshire. Nearby is the town of Cleobury Mortimer which boasts a selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants, but is most famous for its unique church. Ludlow is less than 10 miles from here and is famous for its castle as well as being renowned for its shopping, along with restaurants and numerous tea shops, pubs and inns. The area has something for everyone.

Wren's Nest

This cottage is gorgeous with amazing views of the English countryside. It is quite out of the way, however, and getting there, especially in the dark is a challenge. We traveled with 9 people, including two infants and everyone had space and was comfortable. The kitchen is not stocked with any food at ll (salt, pepper, sugar) so whatever you want to cook you must purchase. The hosts were occasionally difficult to reach but they got back to us eventually. Overall, it was an ideal place for our family.

Stunning views, amazing property

This is a really spacious 4 bedroom bungalow. It has plenty of room for everyone and there are places to be and to sit quietly if you want solitude too. There is a great hot tub, a lovely summer house and a fabulous BBQ pavilion. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need both inside the property and outside too. There are indoor games and outdoor games, towels and slippers for the hot tub, music systems for background ambience and much more. (I think they only thing I didn't see were egg cups! lol) The owners provided milk, bread, butter and homemade jam (which was delicious) just get you started. The position is great for Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow, Tenbury Wells and Bewdley (for the Severn Valley Railway). I would highly recommend this property to families and friends of all ages. The only minor negative is that there is a little bit of road noise but nothing that interferes with the stunning views. Wonderful holiday home! We had a great time!!
