Villa Hara – St Thomas, Karavados, Kefalonia.

Villa Hara is a beautiful detached holiday villa overlooking St Thomas Bay and with views of Mount Ainos and is just a short walk to the sandy St Thomas beach.

The villa is divided over 3 floors. The cosy living space is open plan and incorporates the lounge kitchen and dining area with patio doors leading out onto a veranda including further seating for outside dining. Living area and veranda overlook the 12 metre pool and garden with wonderful sea and mountain views. Outside space is generous and includes a spacious BBQ area with additional seating for al fresco dining plus a large grassed area as well as further flower beds.

Living area and Bedrooms are air-conditioned (new units installed for 2022 season include HEPA filters and Ioniser) - there are 4 bedrooms in total. 1 double bedroom and balcony on the first; 1 double bedroom and balcony on the ground floor both with their own separate shower and toilet. Further double and twin bedrooms on lower floor including a third bathroom with a bath/shower and toilet.

There is a large L shaped pool and lovely garden area, fantastic for sunbathing and playing games with great views of Mount Ainos and sea views including views of the neighbouring island of Zakynthos.The villa is situated in a secluded road approximately 25mins drive from the airport and only a 20mins drive to Argostoli.

In 2020 we extended the BBQ area with increased space and seating in the shade. Also access from the BBQ/Pool level through the ground floor bedroom allowing easier access to and from bathroom.

Just Bliss!

Villa Hara - what a joy! Peace and tranquility in a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside. The BBQ area by the pool was the perfect setting for evening meals. As to the villa's location, it was ideal for walking, and for reaching the many other charming villages and towns in the area. A super holiday. Thank you Villa Hara.

Perfect getaway

The Villa is wonderful a real home not just a rental. Susan was so helpful before and during the stay - ive never known a more supportive host. Everything you can imagine you will need is at the Villa not just cups and bowls and is of a high standard. The extra items like ice boxes for the beach etc all add to the ease of the vacation. Kefelonia is a laidback unspoiled island and the local beach is small and popular but being in walking distance means it’s a great place to go of an evening where you can enjoy a few drinks before heading back to the villa. Our children LOVED the bedtime beach as it became known and the pool kept them amused for hours with snorkels and inflatables. The perfect lawns and beautiful gardens are great for relaxing in and we had bbqs at the Villa using the local bought food most nights and ate in the local restaurant. We cant recommend this villa or location enough we will definitely look to return.

Excellent Stay

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. Very spacious with a lovely pool and plenty of space for children aswell as a great outdoor dining area. Walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. Good location to tour the island by car This was our second stay in this villa and it suited our needs with the grandchildren perfectly

Beautiful Villa

We had a fabulous time at this gorgeous villa. We were 4 adults and two children (7 and 9). We could not fault the villa in any way. The views from the property and pool are absolutely stunning. The property is kept in a very high standard of maintenance. There is a small beach and restaurant in walking distance but it is a very steep hill coming back and some of our party weren’t mobile enough to manage it. A car is absolutely essential if staying here but I think that would be the case with most villas on the island. We can recommend this villa and Kefalonia for your next holiday without hesitation.

Lovely villa in a perfect location!

We had a great week in this lovely modern and comfortable villa. Its set in a peaceful location (just 5 mins walk from the beach) with a beautiful sea view. Just perfect! We hope to come back!

Susan - British owner purchased property in 2017. We first visited Kefalonia over 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with the island, its wonderful relaxed way of life and spectacular coast. And so it was that in 2017 we were lucky enough to buy our very own island villa. We knew as soon as we saw Villa Hara and fell in love with the fabulous sea and mountain views that we would be able to make this a truly wonderful holiday home that we could share with both family and friends.
We really hope that you will want to rent our villa and that you will feel the same love for Kefalonia as we do.

We have holidayed on Kefalonia regularly since 2006 and this area has always been our favourite. The location is Beautiful with sea and mountain views and only a 5 minute walk to the small but sandy beach of St Thomas Bay which has both a restaurant and cafe. There are others restaurants close by including the family run Enasteron (5 min drive), the village of Karavados with two mini supermarkets and also within easy drive of Argostoli with its shops, restaurants, cafes, leisure facilities and of course the Turtles.
