It is connected by bus to the city, although it is ideal to have a rental car, since with 5 to 60 minutes' excursions you can visit all of eastern Sicily including the volcano Etna, the beautiful villages of Taormina and Acireale, the city of Siracusa with its archaeological and historical heritage, the impressive gole dell'alcantara etc. and return in the afternoon to live the night of Catania. We are renovating the large terrace (100 mq) on the roof of the building that will be available to the apartments and decorated with outdoor shower, table with chairs and sun loungers. The terrace has a 360 ° view of the gulf of Catania and Mount Etna.
We have free Wi-Fi and you can park your car in the street below the house, there is free space at all times; the apartment has recently been refurbished and furnished with new furniture and all common accessories, kitchen utensils, bed linen and towels, etc. The apartment are also provided with air conditioning which can be adjusted to your taste and washing machine.

- Underneath The house is a rocky beach (lava) with a beautiful deep blue sea and transparent, bathing with glasses or mask you see the rich marine flora and a myriad of small fish that swim around. There are free access to the beach and "lidos" or spas that offer rental chairs and umbrellas, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and are equipped with wooden walkways for sunbathing, showers and stairs to facilitate the bath.
- If you prefer a sandy beach there is the beach of Catania, about 15 minutes by car, or in the opposite direction the beautiful sandy or pebble beaches of Fondachello and Taormina, 20r and 40 minutes by car. I also recommend an excursion to the beautiful "Caribbean" beaches of La Marchesa and Vendicari (40 minute drive south) .Vendicari is a pristine nature reserve that takes you back in time, you have to bring a drink and food, no there are bars or other tourist facilities to be protected natural reserve. You can go in the morning and then dine in Syiracusa, the second most important city of ancient Greece after Athens, where Archimedes lived that left many interesting buildings, you can find other Greek and Roman monuments, a Greek theater where shows are scheduled and a beautiful old town.

-A 5 km is the village of Acitrezza where tradition says that Polyphemus, the giant of the Odyssey, launched Ulysses rocks after the latter made him blind, in fact there is a small island and rocks in the sea.
