Would you like, to relax in a green hilly area, fall asleep at the sound of frogs croaking, enjoy the best sunsets, at the end of an intense day exploring Genoa and the Italian Riviera? If so, this is the right place for you.
Just 15' from the centre and 20' from the Aquarium and the beaches, our flat is fully equipped, offers 5 beds, free wifi and private parking.
As we are on top of a hill overlooking the city centre, you can enjoy a breathtaking view and have breakfast with the sea on the horizon.
Frequent public means of transport are available and, few steps away, you can find numerous family run shops and supermarkets.
I am a Licensed Tourist Guide. In my city and in its surroundings I know the great attractions and the most hidden corners .
If you like I can suggest you personalized and alternative itineraries in Genoa and Liguria to discover what tourists generally don't see and places where to taste the best local cuisine , “Focaccia” and “pesto” sauce.
I speak English and French (and a little German).
The entire flat is at your disposal and you can enjoy the beautiful city view from a small but distinctive little terrace.
It consists of 1 double bedroom plus a sofa bed, 1 twin bedroom, bathroom with tub and shower, kitchen and can accomodate up to 5 guests.
The flat has no air conditioning but it is quite cool and, in any case, both bedrooms are provided with ceiling fans.
The apartment is fully equipped so that you can have a comfortable stay: kitchen crockery and pots, towels, bed sheets, hairdryer, washing machine, iron, microwave and Italian Moka coffee machine.
If you need a crib for kids, please, let me know in advance and I will prepare it for you.
We live at short distance and our schedules may vary so please let us know your needs and we will try to meet them.
In case you prefer being free to arrive whenever you like (even at late night) we can provide a personal code to enter the flat and a self check-in service with no extra charge.
The apartment is reachable by car but the last 50 meters are quite steep even if normally used by large cars (SUV or van).
Just in front of the house, in a private courtyard, a free private parking place is available.
The house is in the neighborhood where I live, where I was born and grown, where I have decided to grow my own children and where I have my lifetime friends.
Even if it is today part of the city, it still retains the characteristics of an old village of the genoese countryside where the noble families used to spend their holidays.
At few steps is the church square, a garden for children, small shops (mini market, greengrocer's). Additional shops and pharmacy are a 5-minute drive away.
Distances by car from the main attractions are as follows:
15 minutes to Brignole area, 20 minutes to the Aquarium, the Old Port Area, the Historical Centre, the beaches of Corso Italia or the ancient village of Boccadasse village.
30 minutes to the parks and the Museum of Nervi.
By public transport it takes a few more time but during the day bus runs are frequent (every 5/7 minutes) and an ultimate panoramic elevator, the first in Italy with a double-slope can shorten travel times ( it runs from 7am to 8pm every day except Sundays) and allows you to reach shops and supermarkets in just a few minutes.
To reach the public transport stop it is necessary to walk along a 50 metre steep road.
