Come and enjoy this magnificent NEWLY RENOVATED & IMPROVED Blowing Rock log home!

The main level boasts a spacious living room with 20-foot high, exposed beam, cathedral ceilings, large picture windows, a gas log stone fireplace, and a huge 60" SMART TV with DVD player, a dining room that seats 8, a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with additional seating for 4.

Also on this level are a full bathroom, a bedroom with queen-sized bed, a spacious master suite with King-sized bed, SmartTV and a private bathroom with double jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and a huge wrap-around deck with a new gas grill and views of the surrounding forest.

Upstairs is a spacious loft overlooking the living room with a queen-sized sleeper sofa, pool table, and SmartTV, a large bedroom with a King bed, another large bedroom with a King-sized bed, and a full bathroom.

Downstairs is a second living area with stone gas log fireplace, a full wet bar with fridge and dishwasher and coffeemaker, seating area, and a second deck overlooking the forest with a beautiful Jacuzzi-brand hot tub, a bedroom with a King bed, and a full bathroom.

With 1,000 square feet of outdoor decks, you can relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere outside and the views of the creek and forest. Enjoy the brand new firepit on the grounds below the cabin as well!

Located near the Appalachian Ski Lodge in Blowing Rock, you can walk to the Lodge and it's convenient to all other High Country attractions. Enjoy the fantastic views of the Appalachian Ski Mountain fireworks show on New Years Eve and July Fourth!

* 30-45 minutes to Ski Beech, Sugar Mtn. Ski Resort, Hawknest Ski Resort, Linville Falls and Caverns, Grandfather Mountain, and convenient to every other High Country adventure.
* 2 hours North of Asheville

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- The driveway can hold three cars. The home is accessed by a gravel road and the driveway is also gravel. 4WD is recommended during winter months.
- This property is not pet friendly under any circumstances. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Owner monitors the exterior of the home with security cameras, but no interior or hot tubs are monitored.
- No large parties or gatherings are permitted.

House was great!

Very clean, well organized. Loved the boxes of soap, lotion, ect. That was a very nice touch & appreciated! Internet was not the best for streaming basketball, football or movies, but it was fine for our phone/ipad usage. Thank you for a memorable space for our family to kickoff the Holiday season at Tweetsie!

Beautiful visit with a few hiccups

The cabin itself is incredible. It was well-maintained, clean, and had nearly everything we needed for an enjoyable visit. Generally speaking, the property management company was helpful and responsive, including quickly replacing a broken coffee machine. Our visit was somewhat disrupted due to a boil water advisory and while I don't fault the host, it was a little frustrating and costly to have to rely on bottled water for drinking, dishes, etc early in the week. More challenging was the fact that the owner apparently scheduled to have the hot tub replaced in the middle of our visit without notifying us or the property management company in advance. This required us to negotiate to get back into our rental due to a crane blocking the driveway and a fair bit of noisy disturbance during toddler nap time one day. Additionally we lost use of a hot tub for a day since it takes nearly that long to get it to temp.Those unfortunate disruptions aside, I'd recommend the cabin as a spacious, relaxing, and (usually) peaceful rental for a family vacation.

Appalachian Ski Weekend

The house was well appointed with all the things that we needed. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were only a short 5 minute walk to Appalachian Ski Mountain and our boys were able to go up and ski until Midnight every evening. It is only about 45 minutes from Sugar and and hour to Beech so it wasn't bad to travel over to those areas to ski. This house is great for a group of people looking for good accommodations and closeness to ski opportunities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.
