This property is part of the Historic Rocky Cottage, a quaint complex on the Highway 290 Wine Trail with five suites that can be rented together or separately (please contact Vacasa for details). You'll be just six miles from downtown Fredericksburg, within steps of four on-site tasting rooms, and a short walk from the adjacent Six Shooter Cellars and Fiesta Winery.

Step inside this traditional stone suite to find exposed wood walls and ceilings, a stone fireplace, and comfortable furnishings. You'll have WiFi throughout, as well as a flatscreen TV to help you unwind after a day of wine-tasting.

Begin each morning with freshly brewed coffee and use the convenient microwave to prepare a few snacks. If you pick up some local picnic fixings at Fredericksburg's seasonal farmers market, you'll find plenty of space to enjoy them in the shared courtyard, which even features live music performances most Saturday afternoons.

This one-bedroom cottage will comfortably accommodate two people. The cozy bedroom features a king bed and a bold red accent wall, while the full bathroom has a spacious shower and vanity. One dog is even welcome to come along, but please note that a small nightly fee apply.

As one of Texas' most beloved wine-growing regions, Fredericksburg is a wonderful combination of rich local history and Hill Country beauty. When you're not enjoying the convenience of the four on-site tasting rooms, walk less than one mile to reach Alexander Vineyards and Rancho Ponte Vineyard, or hop in the car to visit dozens of other facilities in greater Gillespie County.

Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts also won't want to miss Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, a favorite among locals for its peaceful landscapes and majestic rock climbing opportunities.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
