The accommodation:
Large room (12 sqm.) And very bright, window on the sea, with double bed and exclusive bathroom at 5 meters, air conditioning, TV, internet with free wi-fi, minibar and microwave. The apartment is equipped with an autoclave, to guarantee the availability of hot and cold running water. Guests can take advantage of the panoramic balcony overlooking the Port of Salerno, with the possibility of dinners and breakfasts in the room or on the balcony, served by the Host. The apartment is located in Via Porto, a stone's throw from the main entrance of the Port and the access to the Maritime Station, only 200 meters from the Verdi Theater and the adjacent Villa Comunale, which in the winter months hosts the famous installations of the " Luci d'Artista ". The three main streets of Salerno start from the Villa Comunale: the beautiful Lungomare (from the Santa Teresa beach to Piazza Concordia etc.), the Via Roma (lively area of bars, restaurants and shopping) and the Via Mercanti, a pedestrian area of the characteristic center Historic that continues with the elegant shopping area of Corso Vittorio Emanuele to the railway station. The accommodation is on the fourth floor of the building in Via Porto n. 9, with intercom outside the door (where "ABITARE SUL PORTO" is written, without commercial indications) and of course with the use of the lift. Guests will receive the keys to the door of Via Porto, the keys to the main door of the apartment (which opens onto the entrance in common with the Host's home) and those of their room. Check in is: from 14:00 pm onwards. Check Out is: before 12:00 am.
Interaction with guests:
As a rule, but not necessarily, at least one of the Hosts (Anna Maria or her husband Tony) will be present during the guests' stay. Cleaning and preparation of the room and bathroom will be carried out twice a week, from 12:00 am to 14:00 pm. and in any case - always at the same time - every time in case of a new guest. The presence of the Hosts is of course always foreseen in case of reserved use of the panoramic balcony for dinners or breakfasts.
How to move:
There is a City-Bus stop "Busitalia" and one (optional) of the "SitaSud" bus lines (which serve the entire Center-South) right under the door in Via Porto n. 9. The Molo Manfredi with the Maritime Station is 200 meters away (and from here both the large Cruise Ships and - in summer - the precious ferries to the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento Coast depart). The railway station is 1,500 meters away. (a few minutes with the CityBus n. 5, n. 6 and n. 40 or 15 minutes on foot).

Under reservation, the host will serve delicious breakfasts and dinners for the guests, in the room or on the panoramic balcony over Salerno's port. The apartement is extremely well located, just a few meters from the sea and the main entrance of the harbor and 200 meters from Verdi Theater, the City Hall with its beautiful park where in winter time the famous light installation festival "Luci d'Artista" attracts visitors from all over Italy. Just around the corner are the charming sea-promenade (from S. Teresa Beach to Concordia Place etc.), the historical center (XI cent. Cathedral), "Via Roma" (night life, bars, restaurants, shopping), and "Via dei Mercanti", the peatonal main road of the historical center, following the elegant shopping promenade Corso Vittorio Emanuele until Railway Station. Several clean beaches (private or public) are accessible a few minutes walking. Salerno's train station is reachable on foot (15 min) or by bus (5 min). Salerno is an excellent place to stay if you want to discover Campania's many treasures.
