Fabulous from start to finish
The booking process was easy, instructions were clear. Contacting the owner was simple and she was very helpful. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome and shown around the cottage. We had been left milk, tea, coffee and sugar as well as some homemade welsh cake - really yum, thank you Helen!
The cottage was perfect for all of us. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, all bathrooms clean with plenty of towels.
The living areas were superb - 2 lounge areas which, considering there were a mix of kids and adults it worked out really well. Kitchen was very well equipped. We used fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher even the washing machine. Tablets provided as well as plenty of tea towels.
The house is nice and warm, plenty of hot water and good outdoor space from the patio doors.
The outside was just lovely - the childrens play area went down really well and considering it was end of March the weather was very kind and we all played football outside and on the equipment. A little walk around the area was great and would have liked to go further but with a 2 & 5 year old in toe it probably wasn't going to happen! The area was beautiful with outstanding views, quiet and tranquil (the only noise was from the sheep - ewes protecting their lambs!)
We all enjoyed the games room above the owners garage - a pool table a table tennis table and a new air hockey table. They were a hit with kids and adults!
Overall if you want to get away from it all with things to do without going anywhere then come here - simply perfect!
The only downside was having to go home - we plan to return.
