The large kitchen has been completely replaced in 2023 and has a gas hob, fan oven, built-in microwave, built-in dishwasher and huge fridge/freezer. The utility area has a washing machine, tumble dryer and drinks fridge.
The bedrooms comprise an attractively appointed master bedroom with king size bed and recently fitted en-suite shower room, a further elegant bedroom with king size bed and brand-new (2023) en-suite bathroom and doors to the terrace and views over the valley. There is a twin bedroom with generous wardrobe, beautiful views of the mountain and adjacent shower-room. All bedrooms on this level are air-conditioned at no extra charge.
External stairs lead down from the ground floor level to a bright spacious air conditioned twin room with self contained sitting area, small fridge, kettle and en suite shower room - an ideal suite offering privacy from the main house but not suitable for younger children due to its location, Glazed double doors lead directly out to the pool and terraces.
The beautiful pool has Roman steps into a shallow section for children and at the other end the design incorporates a seating area with stone table. Pool sunbathing and seating areas include 8 sun loungers with a number of parasols, a stone table and bench seats and there is an external pool shower and a separate poolside W.C. Here you will also find a large table seating 8 people and shaded by the terrace above.
For those wanting a little more sporting action there is a table tennis table (bats and balls supplied)
There are three al-fresco dining areas; two on the upper level and the other poolside; ideal for lazy lunches. A gas barbecue is provided.
Three separate areas around the villa have the benefit of large retractable sun awnings providing plenty of shade. Further relaxation and sun bathing areas can be found on the upper level terraces and beautiful side garden with amazing view of the Montgo mountain.
Two secure driveways provide parking for three vehicles.
Javea old town, a ten minute drive away, has picturesque buildings, a thriving traditional local produce market and a colourful street market every Thursday. Smart waterfront restaurants can be found near the port and the Arenal area has a safe sandy beach with numerous beach activities available. Along the front are cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shops.. Beaches are blue flag standard and are monitored by the Red Cross Beach Patrol. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The World Health Organisation found Javea to be climatically and environmentally in the top ten healthiest places on earth.
Closer to home, less than five minutes drive, Jesus Pobre is a traditional Spanish village with several bars and restaurants, a bakery and a small supermarket. On Sundays there is a Farmers Market where you will be tempted by fresh local produce including pastries, bread, vegetables, charcuterie, wine and Limoncello. It is a lovely event for locals and visitors alike.
It is an easy ten minute drive to the larger town of Denia where modern shops and traditional buildings sit comfortably together. A number of attractions include the historic castle, the tree-lined Marques de Campo main street (pedestrianised at weekends) with its restaurants and smart shops and the atmospheric pedestrianised Calle Loretto, full of lively bars and eateries. The outer port area, beyond where ferries depart for Ibiza, has smart restaurants and great tapas bars beautifully situated overlooking the yachts. There is a magnificent 20 kilometre long sandy beach just to the North of Denia town with windsurfing, sailing and paddle board rental opportunities.
