"U CASIN" is a beautiful villa set 1,000 feet above sea-level in the Campanian mountains overlooking the bay of Salerno. Our bookings are set from 2 pm Saturdays to 11am the following Saturday on a weekly basis.This idyllic location is within easy reach of the Amalfi Coast by boat,Capri, the magnificent Greek temples of Paestum. Other attractions include Cilento National park, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum a trip up to mount Vesuvis The medieval town of Campagna is worth a visit, seeing its medieval streets and its
fascinating buildings and is only 3miles from the villa with choices of many shops including restaurants pizzerias. For the fashion conscious the Cilento retail outlet is 30 minutes away! The villa is situated only one hour from Naples, Capodichino airport via A3 motorway. Whilst retaining its Italian style and character the villa is modern and comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Outside there are 2 terraces surrounded by olive trees with stunning views of the Litoranea plain and the bay of Salerno. We have recently built a Portico around the front and side of the villa for those that want to escape the summer sunshine! To the left of the villa are the magnificent Alburni mountain range which creates a stunning vista from the pool. The terraces are fully lit for use at night including multi-coloured pool lighting.
All the rooms are cleaned every Saturday and at the same time bed linen and towels are changed. We welcome any questions before you make a decision. Regards Lib and Val .
