FOR SALE : Poparello is a beautiful traditionally built house situated at 300m, overlooking 35 miles of the Tuscan countryside. It is situated 3 km from the historic and picturesque town of Paciano. Access is via a white road, but is easily accessible with any car. The house is extremely private, with unspoilt surrounding countryside. There is a new 12m by 6m double infinity pool, a small games room, dedicated children's play area and private terraces. The apartment, garden and house are wheelchair friendly, with full access to all important areas. Sadly our last few weeks now possible. Free stay for purchaser.
The apartment has full wifi, Smart TV, DVD player and films, with UK TV. (extra charge)

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Das Highlight war für uns definitiv der Infinity-Pool und das wahnsinnig leckere Essen in der ganzen Umgebung. Das Haus ist über eine Schotterstraße zu erreichen. Auf keinen Fall nach Navi fahren sondern sich vorab die korrekte Wegbeschreibung von den Besitzern Judith und Geoffrey geben lassen - sonst landet man mitten in der Pampa und kommt mit dem Auto nicht mehr weiter. Die Hausbesitzer wohnen direkt nebenan (das Haus ist eine Art Doppelhaus). und waren jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem war es für uns eine sehr schöne und vorallem erholsame Urlaubswoche.

Entspannung pur mit wundervoller Aussicht in Umbriens Landschaft

Unser Urlaub hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen! Der große Salzwasserpool ist hervorragend gepflegt, genau richtig temperiert und ermöglicht einen traumhaften Rundumblick in die Natur. Für Kinder gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz mit Schaukeln, Rutsche, Kletterturm, Fußballtor und Federballnetz. Bälle und Schläger sind im Haus. Die Besitzer Judith und Geoffrey aus England leben auf dem Grundstück. Sie stehen jeder Zeit mit Ratschlägen, Tipps und Unterstützung zur Seite und gewähren dabei trotzdem alle Freiheit und Privatsphäre. Das authentisch-umbrische Ferienhaus ist makellos sauber. Es ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen sorgenfreien Urlaub notwendig ist. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern, eine Spülmaschine und ein wunderschönes Bad mit Regendusche. Auf der schattigen Terrasse steht ein kleiner Elektrogrill. Judith bietet bei Bedarf an, die Wäsche zu waschen. Einmal pro Woche gibt es frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto in ca. 15min zu erreichen. Ausgedehnte Spaziergänge durch Wälder und Olivenfelder sind traumhaft! Wer die Natur und die Ruhe, wundervolle Ausblicke und Sonnenuntergänge liebt, ist in Poparello genau richtig. Wir danken Judith und Geoffrey für ihre herausragende Gastfreundschaft und zwei wunderbare Wochen in Umbrien!

Perfect Umbrian holiday

Fantastic 2 week stay. The property is lovely with stunning views and an incredible swimming pool. The owners were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very at home. The property and pool are immaculately clean and every need has been carefully thought about by the owners. We will definitely go back!

Magnificent!

We (my wife and I and our 3 children) have just returned from Paciano, where we stayed two weeks in the company of Geoffrey and Judith. We only have good things to say about our stay...incredible location of property, near the top of an unspoiled hill in Umbria with fantastic views across a valley; lovely accommodation - comfy beds, all amenities; a simply marvellous infinity pool, which we couldn't get enough of; and wonderful hosts who could not have been more helpful, and seemed to have the balance just right between being involved in our holiday and letting us get on with it. The area is also stunning, which is of course well known, but you have to see it to believe it - hilltop town after hilltop town of stunning beauty with great restaurants and cafes. We really could not have asked for more: preparing now for all the back to school stuff, we miss Paciano a great deal!

A lovely week at Poparello

Our second time staying at Poparello and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Our lovely hosts Geoffrey and Judith made us all feel so welcome and like part of their family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they both have an abundance of knowledge of the local area and beyond. The pool is all you could ever wish for with the panoramic views making the location even more special. The air conditioned accommodation is outstanding, well kept, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We all had such a relaxing time and didn’t want to leave. Poparello really is paradise on a gorgeous hillside in Umbria. Love The Clark family

Anfitrião: Judith and Geoffrey Pearson

Judith and Geoffrey Pearson worked as Chartered Physiotherapists for over 30 years but took the decision to live out in Italy in 2011.
They purchased a two bedroomed this three bedroomed house with a separate two bedroomed apartment, along with 5 acres of surrounding land, which included around 100 olive trees and un-spoilt natural woodland.
Sadly we are selling Poparello, so there is little time left to sample this property.
The whole property has been overhauled, or built from scratch, to bring modern comforts into a rural setting.

It is an extremely private location, but with all modern conveniences, with air conditioning and the most amazing pool. Within olive groves, you can sample award winning olive oil, from our own olive trees.
Use of telescope for star gazing, possibility of seeing wild boar, deer, red squirrels and eagles,.
Light pollution at a minimum and sometimes silence at night, only pierced by the sound of cicadas and tree frogs.
Easy access to main roads too, so exploring Tuscany and Umbria, including Assisi, Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Perugia, etc, with close links to main rail links to Rome or Florence, Pisa or Siena.

There are numerous properties in this area, but Poparello probably has the most spectacular location. As far as we know this is the only property with a large 12 metre by 6 metre double infinity pool.
Air conditioning to all bedrooms added in 2016.
Peaceful location with nearly a 360 degree panoramic view over Tuscany from the house and pool.
There is use of binoculars and Telescope for amazing star and planet gazing.
