Nice é uma cidade maravilhosa com tudo o que você poderia esperar - um cenário espetacular, museus e galerias, história, grande arquitetura, comida, praias e glamour.

Nice Port está a 5 minutos de caminhada da movimentada cidade velha. É um labirinto de pequenas lojas e restaurantes, todos que vão até à beira-mar onde você pode comer fora e admirar os iates e cruzeiros de luxo.

Grandes obras ocorreu em 2010-11, que criaram um pavimento largura dupla permitindo refeições ao ar livre ao longo de todo o comprimento da estrada.

Uma nova linha de eléctrico, com abertura prevista para 2014 terminará no porto e executar todo o caminho a partir do porto para o aeroporto.

Beautiful Penthouse, Phenomenal Location,. Plus a couple tips

The property is exactly as described in the profile and the view/location couldn't have been better. It truly made our four nights in Nice special and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Before booking, note that the owner states he processes your payment in British Pounds. If your bank charges foreign transaction fees, it can substantially effect the price. We paid an extra $100 USD in bank fees- $75 to process the payment, cleaning fee, & deposit and $25 when our deposit was refunded (promptly btw.)

The local property agent was kind and helpful. As a courtesy; it's very important that you arrive at the time you originally arranged. We drove in from Lyon and estimated that we'd arrive by 5-6 PM. However, because we decided to take a more scenic route (worth it); we didn't get to Nice until about 6:30.

The day before our reservation, the agent sent us an email asking that we text her 2 hours before our actual arrival. We attempted to do so but given the inconsistent Alpine cell/data coverage; the message didn't reach her. When we arrived in Nice around 6:30; we phoned to let her know we were about 45 minutes away due to traffic. While she was still able to meet us at the property before 8 to avoid the late arrival fee; it was clear that a 2 hour notice would've been appreciated.

Again, if you're looking for an exceptional property with spectacular views in a perfect location- this is the rental for you.

Awe-inspiring views in Nice!

We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse. Our flight was delayed coming in and Laure took great care of us. Checking in and out was a breeze, and we really appreciated the welcome bottle of wine with snacks (particularly after a delayed flight). The view from the penthouse is STUNNING! In addition to the view the location itself is really great. The marina is quiet and beautiful, giving you the full benefit of a central location without the noise and traffic of the hotel section of the Promenade des Anglais. There are a lot of restaurant choices nearby and Christopher provides a great summary of his recommendations. It's also near several antique shops and we had a lot of fun browsing through their wares. The only drawback was the size of the beds. They were comfortable but at 6' 3", my husband was a bit cramped. Overall, I highly recommend the apartment and had a wonderful time there.

Perfect to enjoy Nice with small kids

This was a perfect place for our family with 6-year old twins to enjoy Nice and surroundings. We spent a full week. The location was great for us with small kids-central, yet removed from the touristy part of Nice, great view that we enjoyed every morning and evening. It gave us a comfortable home to retreat to after full days exploryng Nice and its surroundings. Laure was very helpful to us as well. One day late in the evening we realizwd that we are locked out of the house because we forgot the keys, and Laure very graciously helped us with that. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the building, as well as grocery stores and bakeries close by, which made logistics quite easy for us. Highly recommend this place.

Fabulous view!

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment.As previously stated the view is amazing and is the biggest plus of this apt over many other rentals .We chose to stay and eat in rather than go out because sitting on the balcony beat the view from many restaurants. We ate out once at the Castel beach club which was very expensive but the food was excellent and the setting magical,we sunbathed here as well .Again a bit pricey but a great experience! We visited the Matisse museum and Museum of modern art both recommended. Nice has so much to offer and this apartment is in a great location to take advantage of this .

Excellent apartment with stunning views!

My son and I spent five nights here and absolutely loved it. The views were stunning and so was the apartment.

The owner Chris was very helpful beforehand answering my numerous questions about the area!

I really cannot understand the poor review about the beds because we both slept incredibly well.

The weather whilst we were there was glorious so the air conditioning was well used. After a long day in the heat of the Cote d'Azure we were extremely grateful for the cool air of the apartment on our return.

The main purpose of our trip was to celebrate my son Robert's 18th Birthday with a supercar spotting holiday so much time was spent in Monaco. We were not disappointed.

I would thoroughly recommend booking activities with "Get your Guide". We used them twice - once for a full day Best of the Riviera minibus trip (in an air conditioned bus and excellent guide). A must if you haven't many days in the area. Also I booked my son an hour's drive in a Lamborghini Gallardo convertible. He mainly drove up in the hills in Monaco which he loved!

Food - in Nice we had two evening meals at Di Pieu which is on the beach front. A busy restaurant and you can't book but lovely pizza and pasta and huge portions. In Monaco we are in Tip Top twice - another Italian restaurant. Prices considering where we were were not too bad! La Tavernetta in Monaco old town was also very good.

We fully intend to come back to Nice and would definitely want to stay in the apartment again. It is very comfortable with excellent facilities and communication with the owner.

Monaco is only a short distance along the coast from Nice port - I usually take the 15 minutes easy walk to Nice Riquier train station from where you can catch the train to Monaco in about 15 minutes. The advantage of this is that they go straight through the mountains rather than snaking along the coast road like the buses do. The alternative is to catch the 100 bus from outside the flat at Nice Port and that takes about 30 minutes direct to Monaco.

Gorgeous view, terrible beds. Floor was dirty

Mixed feelings. The view is so nice it can seem silly to complain. But the apartment has 3 single beds, one portable one and a pullout couch. None of which are comfortable. We slept on the floor 3 of 4 nights.

In addition, the owner charged me an additional 175 Euros upon arrival for his property managements fees and then another 59 because my flight arrived in the evening.

Resposta do proprietário: I decided to put 2 single beds in each of the bedrooms to offer greater flexibility for guests who may not always want to sleep in a double (e.g. children of families or sharing friends). When choosing the beds I decided to buy the best quality available and sourced them from Gallerie Lafayette (a top quality Department Store) in Nice. The mattresses are the most comfortable I could find after testing all their available stock and are fully sprung and medium. The "portable" bed to which the customer refers is an equally high quality mattress on a high quality steel bed frame with sprung loaded legs that can be collapsed flat and then pushed inside the other single bed if not required. They both come as one 'unit' and are designed for space efficiency whilst not compromising comfort. The "pull out couch" is a quality double sofa bed in the lounge with a sprung mattress. There is a sliding door to the lounge to enable it to become a private bedroom when guests are sleeping in it. This if the first time a guest has reported the beds to be uncomfortable, but perhaps some Americans are used to much larger beds than are provided in this apartment; also, one of the guests reported to my local agent that she had had recent surgery on her back. The Local Agents fee which was (at the time of this guest making their reservation) payable locally and was prominently highlighted in my contract terms; however, I recently changed my charging structure and it is now included in the online price quoted by HomeAway. The additional 'Late Arrival Fee' is still payable upon arrival in Nice to my Local Agent in Euros and applies to guests arriving after 8pm and is clearly stated in my contract. The wooden floors are hoovered and mopped with wood preservative cleaner between lets, and the bathroom floors are cleaned too.
