Maison spacieuse et agréable

La maison est située dans un quartier résidentiel et calme. Elle est propre et avec toutes les commodités nécessaires.

Bien agencée, avec:

- Un très grand garage au RDC,

- Le coin à vivre: Salon, Salle à manger, cuisine et salle de bain avec douche au premier étage.

- 3 chambres à coucher et une salle de bain avec baignoire au deuxième étage.

- Une terrasse extérieure avec solarium accessible de l'extérieur au troisième étage .

- La piscine en bois est au deuxième et accessible de l'extérieur.

Les plages sont à 1 à 2 km de la maison et accessible à pied si on est courageux ou à 5 minutes en voiture de même que les commerces (boulangerie, épicerie, boucherie, restaurants, bars, bazars ou supermarchés)

Nous avons été très contents de notre séjour et recommandons cette maison.

Nice Spacious house for a long stay.

We arrived at the beginning of February when it was very cold. It took a couple of days with the heating on for the house to warm up properly but with the shutters opened & the sun able to get in, it became a nice bright & airy house.

The location is great with beautiful views of both mountains & sea. The beach & promenade are a ten minute walk away. We also walked our dog in the mountains which are 5 minutes away at the top of the road. The best of both worlds.

The kitchen is well equiped but I think a full size oven would be preferable to the work top oven at present when you’re doing a long stay like we did, as a lot of the local restaurants are still closed during the winter months.

There are three different sun terraces to sit on, all with lovely views & a very spacious underground garage where the washing machine is sittuated.

The wifi is ok but the speed is not quite as fast as most UK internet connections. Certainly fast enough to retrieve emails etc. though. When we arrived we couldn’t connect so I emailed the owner from my phone & within a couple of minutes he had responded telling me where & how to re-boot the server. Really good service.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hope to return in the near future.

Dirty, damp, poor WiFi, only 2 English-Speaking TV channels ( News) etc, etc,

If we could give this villa zero stars, we would. We would not recommend going to this villa, at all! It looks nice in the photo, but it's dirty, and badly needs upkeep/renovating - a few examples being, smelly drains, cracked bathroom tiles (with mold and dirt), dirty shower curtain, dirty floors, holes in cupboards/wardrobes; POOR Wifi (not enough strength to check emails or use Skype, it kept disconnecting). The electric would constantly trip, just when we were watching TV (news); Only 2 English Speaking TV Channels (Sky News and CNN) the rest are all in German, which is great if you speak German. The Villa is cold and damp in January, with only 1 radiator for the whole villa, so upstairs was cold & damp - the owner asked us not to use the radiator much, as he was watching his electricity bill (we tried at first, but the place was just too cold; and, our thoughts on this are, if you don't want to pay for the electricity in winter, then don't advertise your villa for rental!).

This villa probably does not have any AC (Air Con) in the summer, so it will be hot.

Not that we used the pool, but we saw it; it's an on-ground pool, on one of the levels, overlooked by many of the nearby urbanization's (not at all private); and it appears to be quite deep for little children.

Something we have NEVER encountered before, in staying in accommodation rented through VRBO and HOME & AWAY - with this property, there is an additional charge for the bed sheets and towels, on top of the Villa Rental!! (both of which seemed very old and worn).

When we booked (over the phone) it was explained that we had to pay a certain amount of money for the 1 set of sheets, and two towels, so I ordered them, and this was added on to the rental fee, on to the credit card. There was also a Refundable Damage Deposit, which we know is normal, albeit on the high side, and we paid this - however, after we left the place spotless, and undamaged (with some wine glasses that we had bought, as well as a full large bottle of Olive Oil for the next people who stayed at the villa) the owner decided that he wanted to charge us for three sets of sheets and towels, and so he failed to refund us the full Damage Deposit, owed to us. To us this does not seem right, because we did not cause any damage, and that deposit is for damage purposes only, not for the owner just to take extra money because he feels like it! Our advice, book elsewhere. Photos can be deceiving.

Resposta do proprietário: This negative comment only proves 1 thing : all published comments are genuine and uncensored, even the 15 positive ones. Over the past years, 15 people have posted very positive comments and only this lady would like to give zero stars ? Not very credible I would say. The drains have been cleaned last week, as an immediate countermeasure during her stay. A drain blockage can happen anywhere and anytime. It is the reaction of the owner and the key holder that is important in such a case. I have seen the pictures that she sent to “prove” her statements about cleanliness. For some of the photos you really have to sit on your knees to find these kind of details. Since many years I have an annual check together with the keyholder to spot things that need repair or upgrade. The Wifi is according to the Wifi standards that you might expect in Spain. “Only 2 English Speaking TV Channels (Sky News and CNN)”. I did explain to her when she arrived that the selection of channels is limited to the free Astra channels. I also told her that I receive people speaking many different languages (Spanish, French, German, English and Dutch). It would be too expensive to offer a wide range of paying channels for all of these languages. “The Villa is cold and damp in January”. When we receive visitors in winter, we switch on the large radiator in the living room a few days beforehand. In that way even the bedrooms are dry and warm by the time people arrive. These people however reserved in winter on extremely short notice (the day before arrival). They have to be realistic as well. “This villa probably does not have any AC”. What is the problem ? I do not advertise that there is AC. There are ventilators in each room, since most people leave the doors open and sit on the terraces in summer. Remarks about the pool : the photo’s reflect the real situation very clearly, there is no deception. You see what you get. It is clearly stated on the website that bed sheets and towels are optional and have to be paid in cash on site, by each set of bed sheets and by each set of towels. The reason why this is optional and chargeable, is that most of the visitors come by car from Spain or France, and bring their own material. Since they refused cash payment to the key holder (1 set of bed sheets and 2 towel sets), I subtracted it from the deposit, which is correct and fair I think. The remaining amount was returned.

Sehr schönes, und gut ausgestattetes Haus mit Blick von den Terrassen auf Meer und Berge.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, und kommen gerne wieder. Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter Johan war perfekt.

Bon séjour

Maison correcte. Par contre très peu de pression d' eau pour prendre une douche parfois difficile. Sinon très beau séjour.

A casa fica em San Juan de los Terreros, um resort à beira-mar na Andaluzia oriental. É facilmente acessível a partir dos aeroportos de Murcia, Alicante e Almería. San Juan de los Terreros é um aldeamento turístico. Há uma magnífica alameda, com bares, restaurantes e bares sociáveis. Terreros tem o seu próprio campo de golfe (World Gable). Há também uma belíssima praia. Nos arredores de San Juan de los Terreros pode encontrar bons locais de mergulho e vela. A uma curta viagem de 15 minutos leva-o para o parque aquático em Vera. Outras cidades pitorescas são Aguilas, Mojacar, Cartagena, Lorca, Murcia, Almería, Granada.
