Les prestations sont vraiment à la hauteur. La piscine, de grande taille, est sécurisée et les espaces de relaxation privatisés.

Just about the nicest place we have stayed. From the views, the very homely interior, the garden and pool, it was excellent. The photos convinced us to book but the reality surpassed the images. We loved it and were sad to leave which for us is very rare.

Vincent and Marie get the hosting spot on. Very, very and responsive if you have any questions, whilst still remaining in the background.

What an arrival we had at the Owl Barn. Pulled up at about 5:30pm on a dazzlingly blue Saturday afternoon to be enthusiastically greeted by Maria and Vincent. We were warmly ushered in to the stylishly decorated Owl Barn and shown all the modern conveniences. It is utterly charming with a very comfortable double bed and high thread count sheets (this matters to me). Lots of starters in the welcome pack which is very thoughtful. Fans in the rooms if it gets a bit warm. We stayed quite cool in the rooms despite daytime temps up in the mid 30's. BBQ on the pretty patio that was privacy shaded by the wisteria was a bonus. So quick to fire up and use so we cooked on there most occasions. The pool was wonderful - a perfect temperarure so no squealing when getting in. Loved the lavender and jasmine plus the incredibly thoughtful privacy setting. Can chat to the neighbours if you fancy but can equally doze undisturbed if you felt like it. Views were awesome. Balloons drifting by and lovely pink sunsets. We never came in until gone 10:30pm each night. The absolute best bit about Les Brugettes is the brilliant location - only 10 - 15 minutes from so many great places. We could easily fit in a chateau visit then drop in to another town for lunch and head in for a stroll around Sarlat and still be back round the pool by 2:30pm. Now that makes your vacation utterly worth it. Would defintely recommend booking this place - you cannot fail to be entranced by the Dordogne as we were. Maria and Vincent are outstanding hosts and the gite and location equally memorable. We will return. Great job......♥️

A lovely place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped. Great grounds, views and a fabulous pool. Vince and Maria are perfect hosts, we had visited before and really enjoyed returning. Lots to do and see in the area if you want to get out and about, or plenty close by if you don't want to venture too far. We recommend the canoeing.

Can't speak highly enough, a fantastic holiday.

This was our 2nd family holiday at Les Bruguettes, Owl Barn, and we met with the usual enthusiasm and smiles by Maria & Vincent. The kind offering of a lasagne and essential provisions ensured we could eat and more importantly drink on our first evening after arriving late. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening banter with our neighbours on the raised patio areas, and daring games of retrieving objects from the bottom of the pool! Although the weather gave us sunshine with some intermittent showers, our hosts kindly provided options on places to visit to ensure we were kept entertained. The area is spectacularly beautiful and local towns such as Sarlat are real life picture postcard images of how you would expect rural France to be. Overall a well recommended holiday destination completed with the love and dedication provided by Maria & Vincent.
