Lovely relaxing holidays in a great villa with beautiful views!
We stayed for 12 nights in October and were lucky with the weather, only having a couple of rainy and cooler days right at the end. The villa is lovely and we found everything we needed. There is lots of outdoor space and outdoor seating available. The sun loungers were the most comfortable I’ve used! The pool was chilly when first entered but fine once acclimated and the views from it are gorgeous. There’s not a lot of comfortable indoor seating as I don’t think you’d get 6 on the sofa but we spent most of our time outside. There were only 2 of us but we often sleep in separate rooms on and off. The king size bed was very comfortable and the twin room next to this had comfortable, sturdy beds. I did try one of the beds in the twin room at the end of the corridor and it was very wobbly, I didn’t feel that it would hold my weight easily. These beds would be fine for children though. It was also great have 3 bathrooms. BEWARE, the water is exceptionally hot!! The sunsets from the villa were amazing!
The location is great if you survive the drive there. The roads in Corfu are awful, as are the drivers. If you walk back along the drive to the main road and cross over the main road to Perithia, you can reach a couple of food shops and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. You can walk to St.Spiridon beach, restaurants and shops within 30-35 minutes or drive there in less than 5 minutes. There is a lovely shallow beach close by and Kassiopi is about a 5 minute drive and if fab!
