Sapphire Beach é uma propriedade do condomínio contemporâneo situado em Dover Beach em St Lawrence Gap. Goza de privacidade real com duas piscinas nos jardins da propriedade e portões privadas para a praia. Há um supermercado a poucas centenas de jardas e dezenas de restaurantes e bares a um curto passeio ao longo do 'Gap'. Apartamento 115 é de dois andares com um quarto twin en suite com seu próprio pátio além de lavanderia sala privada no piso térreo e um quarto suíte com cama king size, cozinha totalmente equipada, sala de estar e varanda no primeiro andar. O interior foi projetado em estilo contemporâneo, com uma mesa de jantar na varanda para assentar 6 pessoas. Wifi gratuito e um dock para iPod está disponível a partir da varanda e você pode assistir o famoso pôr do sol de Barbados com um ponche de rum em sua mão. Um ótimo lugar para relaxar e descontrair.
This place exceeded our expectations. Clean and beautifully cared for, with everything you would want, I cannot recommend highly enough. With a lovely pool and direct but secure access onto a fabulous beach, there's nothing else needed. A huge plus for us is the extra large and extra comfortable main bed. We have had a few holidays wrecked in small squeaky and too-close-too-hot-for-comfort places! Both the single beds also excellent and the very efficient air-con meant we all got good nights!
The kitchen is very well equipped and we did eat in a bit as it can be pricey going out all the time and when the dining area on the balcony is as lovely as it is, why go out? It is more than a holiday apartment, it is spacious enough and equipped to live in (both daughters fantasied along those lines!).
The support and information from the owner is comprehensive and he is quick to respond. The local agents looking after it were equally as helpful.
Within a very short walk we had shops, restaurants, cafes and takeaways... Highly recommend both the little huts in the Dover Beach car park for GREAT take out as well as the lovely street food sold further down the gap. Good bars and great dining all there so the holiday for us was a wonderful mix of everything. Taxis are right outside the front and are very good value. We didn't bother with a car as our priority was beach time. We had a fabulous catamaran trip and the pick up was included so as well as everything on the doorstep we chose not to bother and just used a taxi the couple of times we ventured further afield.
Another bonus is the laundry room - although everything is taken care of we found it very useful to be able to rinse through and dry a few items that had been aught in a tropical downpour!
The grounds are very well maintained and pool clean. 115 benefits from being in a fairly new building so everything is fresh and smart without being pretentious.Less than 15 minutes from the airport it is in a lovely spot on the island. It is everything it says in the information.
Tips: Although beach towels are provided I would recommend taking an easily identifiable couple. It makes it easier to see which location is yours when faced with other sunbeds wearing the same sapphire blue towels!
Do a deal with the guys on the beach for great sunbeds - we sorted ours for the whole time on Day 1 which got us a great deal and meant they were ready for us every morning whether we used them or not.
We had a fabulous holiday in this superb apartment. Can highly recommend it. Fantastic location on a beautiful beach within easy walking distance to local bars, shops and restaurants. The owners of the apartment kept us well informed and contacted us regularly with information and just to see if we were having a good time.
We stayed at the apartment in January and were very impressed with both the accommodation and location.

Fantastic split level condo on the amazing Dover beach in St Lawrence gap which is walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife. Extremely comfortable with an amazing view over the Caribbean and just a few steps to the pool/sea with a great beach bar just around the corner.
Four of us [myself/wife along with daughter and her partner] stayed there for a week at Xmas and hired a car but did not really need it as everything was so close. Nice little grocery just down the road which has everything you need for your stay along with a nearby ATM. I have to say that it was one of most relaxing vacations we have had in many years and we have already made another booking to stay during Christmas 2014.

We have just recently returned from a stay at 115 Sapphire Beach and I really can't rate the apartment highly enough! Firstly as others have mentioned, the service from Mark and Sue was first class. All emails and questions were answered really promptly and with such friendliness that we didn't hesitate to book. The fact that one of the maids told us that Mark and Sue are her favourite owners at Sapphire Beach says it all really!
Now onto the apartment; I looked at many listings before I decided on number 115 and am glad I chose this one. 115 is located in the third block right at the end of the pool and gives a real sense of privacy. The apartment is spacious, modern and well equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday in Barbados. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker and large fridge freezer. We really enjoyed our coffee and toast in the mornings sitting on the balcony overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. We also made good use of the ice-maker attached to the freezer. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom as we were there as a couple but it is very nicely furnished with two twin beds, TV, decent sized fridge and its own bathroom. This bedroom also has the patio outside with direct access to the pool which we used on a few occasions. The upstairs bedroom has a very large king size bed which we found very comfortable and also has a TV and two spacious walk in closets (with a safe in one of them to store valuables) and ensuite bathroom. The living area is equipped with large TV and lovely modern furnishings and we made good use of the Bose sound dock with our ipods. We also really liked the balcony on this apartment as it is fully open and I think gives a much more spacious feel and a better view of the beautiful sea. The pool area and gardens are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. There is security on site 24hrs and we always felt very safe. The apartment was in a great location being about a ten minute walk from the gap with lots of bars and restaurants. There is also a small convenience store called the Dover Market a few minutes walk away.
Lastly, Dover Beach is absolutely beautiful! Soft white sand and glorious turquoise sea! The water was really calm while we there so it was lovely to swim in and this is where we spent most of our time.

My wife and I (36 and 35) and our 1.5 year old daughter had without question one of the BEST vacations/holidays one could have at Sapphire Beach 115. On previous trips to the Dover Beach hotels I witnessed this building being constructed first hand and knew it would be special once it opened. Let me tell you it did not dissapoint! The quality of construction, the amenities, the grounds, the pools (yes 2 pools), the sense of security (not that it is needed in Barbados) and exclusivity were all top notch and certainly must rival that of the West Coast developments. Furthermore, the owners Mark and Sue make you feel like friends almost immediately upon inquiring about their property. This level of comfort with Mark and Sue cannot be overstated especially when your renting an apartment from someone very far away from where you live.
The apartment is huge and delivers the ultimate in Barbados vacations/holidays on 2 floors overlooking the pool and out to the ocean. Restaurants, bars and a convenience store are all very short walk away which is even more important for a family with a baby/toddler in tow. I also should not forget the beautiful Dover Beach directly in front of you where beach chairs are available for rent.
This was our 5th trip to Barbados in as many years and we are so glad we found this apartment and its owners. We will be hard pressed to stay anywhere else ever again when in Barbados (as a matter of fact we just booked another stay!!)
