As our guest, your comfort and safety is our priority please taking a moment to review and acknowledge for our house rules. 1. Relax, indulge, and enjoy yourselves. Villa Lakecomo is a unique place encompassing many microclimates, always remember to pack for various weather scenarios and bring plenty of water! 2. Lock your doors! Although we are a small island, sometimes wild animal like come in! 3. Please apply all sunscreens, tanning oils outside on the grass as not to stain the furniture or floors. 4. Smoking is not allowed inside the house, thank you in advance for your cooperation. 5. Please rinse off all sand and remove shoes before entering the home. 6. Any party, gathering at the property should be finished by 10pm to respect our neighbors, keep the community safe and happy. 7. Please do not tamper with any appliance or fuse boxes, cable equipment, propane, pumps, electric, solar, septic etc.. Should you need assistance with any of these items, please contact the management, as we would be happy to assist you. 8. Remember to always shake sand out of laundry before washing and always check the dryer vent for lint before drying. 9. Please notify us before your departure of any damages that may have occurred during your stay. 10. Remember to turn off air conditioners, close windows and lock door when you leave. 11. Owner and service members will not hold responsible for any injury or damages that you may suffer during your stay. All risk on your own. 12. Both Bad and Good

To start with we were given the incorrect address so we drove around for an hour before we found the propertyThen we couldn’t get it into the property because I hadn’t received an email from the local property management company telling us to come to their office to pick up a key. We get into the home and there is no hand soap and very little toilet paper. I called the property Managment company and asked for both and they never brought any. We did enjoy the property and the fantastic view, however, the check in experience was ridiculous. Additionally I suggest that you tell guests that they will need a car or use a taxi service as the location is half way up the mountain. We used a private taxi service owned by Diego and he was fantastic.

Great location and property.

We had a group of 6 adults and had a great time both in the home and in the area. Very well kept home with many amenities. Would use it again.

A very good couple friend of mine who have been travel in Europe for one months every year in their past 20 years.They invited my husband and I to join their tirp for years 2013. They have lot of travelling experince in the European attractions. We visited lot of beautiful and special, the most impressive to us is lake Come. Bright blue water with classical decorations everywhere, people come from all over the world to gether here most of people enjoy in boating, sailing and watching historical building along the lake, every building is full of stories in the past. also you will be exciting to pass by the beautiful Villa of big star George Coolney .
When a friend recommended Villa LakeCome to us, The secnic part was standing at the front lanai to look at the lake lied with branch of Alps in the mist, while snowing white Moon reflecting in the water, It was so fulfil feelings and attractive to us.
We were very much blessed what we have seen. it is a feeling with joyful, relaxing, peaceful and beautiful romantic. what is a beautiful life!!

Menaggio is a lively little town with narrow streets, a lido, good shops, restaurants and excellent ferry service. The weekly market is a must. Overlooking Menaggio and the lake is the oldest golf course of Italy. Other areas to visit would be Bellagio ( Villa Melzi), Tremezzo (villa Carlotta) , Lugano ( 40 km), Como-town 40 km, Milan 80 km. and wonderful mountains in the nearby Swiss alps in St. Moritz ( 90 km). The ski resorts of the Valtellina including Madesimo are a 1.5hr drive away. Lugano is a short 30 minute drive away via the new tunnel opened from Porlezza to Lugano.
