We so wanted to fall in love with this property, making it our go-to beachfront dog friendly yearly vacation spot, but until the following list is addressed, we just won't be coming back:
-ceiling fans are covered in caked on dirt, and some don't work.
-windows, door, and eves at the front of the house are covered in caked on sand from the last storm.
-screens in the kitchen and master bath are disintegrated.
-there was no toilet paper or paper towels when we arrived, not even on the toilet paper holders, and we both got trapped on the toilets with no TP in sight!
-almost ever single rug is loaded with sand underneath them.
-all the baseboards in every room were covered in dust-bunnies and fur when we arrived.
-the sliding door in the master bedroom doesn’t work.
-the sliding door in living/diningroom has no lock.
-the AC stopped working properly towards the end of our stay due to a need to "change filter" according to the panel.
Overall everything was very tighty when we arrived, but not clean. We had to spend our first afternoon and evening cleaning the place to be ready for all of our family to show the next day...just not what we should have had to do on the first day of our vacation. With a little cleaning and work this place could be a first class gem!
