Really rustic, won’t be back.
There was trash on the driveway, by the house, and on the porch.In the dressing area two out of three bulbs were burned out, the third died later. The outside light by the door was dim and flickering, we had to leave a flashlight out so we could find the keyhole. There was no dead bolt and windows didn’t lock.TV remote was missing a battery and a back, but it didn’t matter since there were so few stations available. In the kitchen the hot and cold water taps are reversed, and there’s no ice maker or ice trays. For cooking there’s just a hot plate, electric skillet, microwave, and toaster, no oven, so we couldn’t heat up leftovers unless we wanted them soggy. The window AC was so loud that we couldn’t sleep without ear plugs. There were no hooks for purses hats, leash, or keys, nor lines to hang wet towels and bathing suits. There were no hangers in the closet, nor a shower mat. The well water stunk of sulfur, which made showering and brushing teeth disgusting. We bought at least seven gallons of water to avoid drinking it. The freezer on the front porch reeked of fish, and stayed running although we weren’t using it.The hose out front leaked too.We hit the store in the nearest town and bought a ton of supplies, and left the light bulbs, batteries, and shower mat for the next tenants.The mgt company never returned our phone calls, they did come on Wednesday to fix the broken light by the front door. For a few more dollars per night we could have stayed somewhere much nicer.
