Castaway Creekside offers our guests the perfect park-like setting, ten feet from the edge of the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River, one of the Tennessee’s preeminent mountain trout streams.
While located only a few miles from the back guest entrance to Dollywood and Dollywood Splash Country, you cannot see another home or road from this cabin. Not even in the winter from any portion of this cabin’s 7 acre lot. Being the next to last cabin on a private gravel drive, the only sounds you will hear will be from the River. You will need 4 wheel drive to access this cabin.
Castaway Creekside boasts 700 feet of river frontage on this fantastic trout stream.
Although we don’t expect the electronics get used much, Creekside Castaway has wireless internet service (for checking email not good enough for streaming movies)and premium cable channels through Direct TV, the living room, loft and each bedroom have flat screen televisions.
Creekside Castaway is decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and modern furnishings. The king size canopy bed in the master bedroom is so “over-the-top” that it defies description in words. With hand woven oriental rugs, leather sofas and seating, every part of this home is welcoming.
The main level features a queen twig bed, rustic furnishings and antiques which captures a unique camping theme.
The top floor loft includes a foosball soccer table, larger flat screen television with DVD, and beautiful view through the living room to the river. With leather sleeper sofa and leather rocking chairs.
Each bedroom has its own full bath and half bath in the loft. The Kitchen feature granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. Bring food, you will not want to leave this cabin to go out to eat, and the kitchen is fully equipped with that in mind.
Creekside Castaway has spacious decks which wrap around the cabin and “stair-step” down to the river. Whether relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying a book to the sounds of the rapids, you will not find a more relaxing and picturesque setting than beside this beautiful river.
For the fisher-men and women in your group, we have an assortment of light fishing gear but always recommend our guests bring their own “familiar” equipment. Applicable licenses and permits are required. The cabin is located on the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River .
This cabin does have sulphur water. We have added a water filtration system and the filters are changed regularly. If you notice a smell please let us know and we will change the filters.
