Gulf and Bay View, Gulf and Bay Access, 2br/2ba Vacation Rental.
"Take A Chance" is located in Hibiscus Beach and Bay, a low-density development that spans the width of St. Josephs spit. Visitors get gulf beach access, a community swimming pool, and a 500 foot pier out into st. Josephs bay. There is also a freshwater pond just behind the house. The beach is 1300 feet away via a sand path just across the street from the house. You can also drive and park at the pool and have a 700 foot walk. We provide a beach wagon to haul your gear.
The home has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and 2 full bathrooms with tub/showers. Linens and towels are provided for four people.
There is parking under the house. A deck goes all the way around the house.
There is a six day minimum stay between Memorial Day and Labor Day weeks, 3 days the rest of the year.
Maximum occupancy is 4 people, this is a strict limitation. Names and ages of all occupants shall be recorded on the rental agreement.
Pets are allowed with a non-refundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet and $50 for the second pet. All pets must be declared on the rental agreement.
Rental rates are based on two people. Additional people or extra weeks are $3 per day per person, maximum $75.
The cleaning fee is $200 (add $15 for stays over 7 days, $60 for stays over 2 weeks, $115 for stays over 4 weeks)
There is a 3.5% credit card fee. Checks are accepted.
There is a 12% tax on the rental and all fees.
There is a $200 refundable security deposit which will be refunded within 14 days after check-out, provided there is no damage, or unauthorized people or pets.
Cancellation Policy:
If cancelled greater than 30 days from check-in, all payments will be refunded less $150 per booked week plus tax. Reservation payments will NOT be refunded on cancellations made less than forty five (45) days in advance of the reservation unless the unit is re-rented for the same rental payment and time period originally reserved. Even if re-rented, $150.00 plus tax will be retained for a service charge. In the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation, a prorate refund on the base rent will be made to the renter for days not stayed. No other weather related refunds will be made. Trip insurance is strongly advised.
