Great holidays

My parents and I had an amazing week on the apartment. The place is very quiet and beautiful, ideal for some family holidays. We were looking for a relaxing week and could not have chosen better.

The location is very nice and we were very pleased that it only takes a 7 minutes walk to the beautiful beach of S. Rafael.

Although the area is very quiet it will only take you a 10 minutes drive to get to the busy city centre of Albufeira.

The apartment is very confortable, it has wi-fi internet service which was very useful for us. The kitchen is very well equipped. The common pool is very nice as well.

We really enjoyed our week and would recommend the apartment to our friends and family.

Well fitted out, spacious accommodation, great location and accommodating owner / its all you need!

This is our fifth trip to Portugal and this has been a real gem of a find, the location is great - easy to find from the directions and close to pretty much everything we wanted to do. The owner (Steve) was very helpful throughout and we were lucky enough to be on an early fight and Steve kindly allowed us early entry without any fuss. The pool is lovely too, we only used this once as the property is so close to the beach (always a preference) and has easy access to the A22 to travel further afield. Be warned that to use the pool you can go anytime it's open, but to get beds, you'll need to be there early (9am latest) and although there is a policy regarding reservation of sun beds, this was obviously easy to overcome and exploit! There are numerous good local beaches all within easy walking distance and there are some lovely places to eat too, of which our favourite was the Praia Grande Restaurant and Bar. Personal service and great food!

Air-con was very useful - especially when daytime temperatures had been 38-39 C!

Well stocked and kitted out - we used the kitchen mainly for the fridge but did cook a couple of meals too and this contained everything you could need.

Apartment was quiet and well sound proofed and thouroughly well kitted out with tech - again we didn't use any of that as we spent most time out and about, but great if you want to stay in or keep kids amused with TV.

All in all a great stay and location, we love Portugal and having a lovely place to use as our base was very important to us / we are confident that you'll enjoy your time here if you choose to stay :)

Fabulous apartment

Great apartment just a 5 min walk to the beach. A number of restaurants in walking distance but would recommend a car for supermarket and day trips. Apartment very well equipped, it had everything you could need, even children's beach toys and beach tent. The bedrooms were a good size with plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. The fold up bed for my little girl was great. Steve was great from start to finish, would definitely stay again.

There is nothing at all that I could faul.t about Steve's house. It really is a home away from home.

We enjoyed Sao Rafael area and Steve's place is in a great location very near to albufeira. All facilities were available at Steves. The beach nearby is beautiful. The restaurant there is that little bit more upmarket than the norm. Sunbeds are 16euro for two plus the shade. The Atlantico hotel across the way is beautiful... worth taking a walk around in there 😁? Steve had a basket of water toys eg. Bucket and spade, a blown up floating seat, rackets and ball, snorkles... so it was nice to avail of these for our daughter. Beware though, we were not allowed to use the floating seat and the ball in the pool... the management are fairly strict about it unfortunately.

Thanks Steve for the use of your fab house. We loved having breakfast on the veranda and i was thankful of the air con needed at times during the night!
