Fantastic Villa

Went to the villafor a week starting 5th August, on arrival found the villa had not been cleaned. Contacted the owner who was very apologetic and stated they would fix the issue. Around 30 minutes later a team of cleaners arrived and blitzed the villa, leaving it emaculate. A very minor issue in the end which left us confident that any other issues would have been sorted (there were none). The villa is up a very very steep drive but it's worth the effort, going with my a family group with 6 adults an 11 year old and a toddler we found the villa the perfect size. The pool area was excellent with a huge table and parasol that made dining outside a real pleasure. The villa is well equipped with everything we needed from towels to kitchen equipment. The electric gates make you feel safe and allow you to let kids run around the grounds. There is a great bar/cafe at the bottom of the drive that serves great fish and BBQ dishes and is very good value for money. Due to the heat (mid 30's) we found that Loule itself was too far away to walk however in mid 20's it would not be too much of a chore. Took day trips to Vilamoura, Albufiera and Fonte Benemola along with visits to Loule all within 30 minutes drive. There is also a wide selection of supermarkets within easy reach. Would definetly recommend the villa to family's or groups and hopefully will return again once we have ticked some other locations off our list!!

Lovely relaxing villa with beautiful views

Villa was really nice and although it took a little time to get used to not having wifi, I think it was a positive thing and enabled me to switch off. Although the pool isn't heated the beautiful weather of Portugal means this is not a problem. All the provided facilities were good, for the beginning of the week the sun beds were all broken but they were replaced by the end of the week.

We did hire a car but it is an easy walk into Loule as long as you don't mind the walk back up the steep hill just before the villa.

Owner is very accommodating, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

A lovely comfortable villa set in a beautiful garden with great views.

We much enjoyed our stay at Villa Luzia . All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and good bath/ shower rooms . The living room is spacious and well furnished and the pool is lovely . As a family that enjoys cooking we found the old cooker a bit challenging to use as the dial settings have partly worn off ! Apart from that the kitchen is well equipped. We missed wifi to start with but soon got used to popping down to Loule for a coffee when we wanted to connect . A very happy holiday in a wonderful place. Recommended!

Vacances merveilleuses!

Superbe villa!!!nous y avons passé des vacances formidables en famille.

Les photos et descriptions sont conformes a l annonce.

Jardin et piscine sont tres bien entretenus.

Grandes Chambres confortables ,au calme.nous etions 10,donc les salles de bain et wc attenants a chaque chambre etaient les bienvenus!!

La villa est tres propre,nous avons apprécié le changement de nos serviettes ainsi qu un brin de menage au cours de notre sejour d une semaine.

Non loin de toutes les grandes villes,nous avons pu decouvrir chacunes d elles sans faire beaucoup de route.

Je recommande cette villa a toutes les familles voulant passer de superbes vacances au sud du Portugal.

Excellent villa can't praise it high enough.

We did not hire a car.Went there for relaxing holiday.

All amenities in villa excellent.

Used to take short walk into Loule take's about 20 minutes from villa.

Very nice bar+restaurant at bottom of hill 3 minute walk from villa.

Very good places to eat in Loule itself.

When walking into Loule you can stop and feed the horses and great park to walk through to get to town.

Bus station in town. Very helpfull staff+Taxis are cheap to go anywhere.

When you have had a late night in town make sure to get taxi up the hill to villa.If not you will need a few stop's on hill to get there.

I wish it was mine.

We have recently returned from a fabulous hot & sunny 2 week holiday staying at villa Luzia. We knew the area a little from previous visits to the Algarve & found the property fairly easily. My first reaction when i saw the property was how stunning it looked & we were not disappointed when we went inside. The hallway is large & all the rooms are light, airy & spacious. The property was very clean & there were plenty of towels left for our use on each bed. During our stay the maid came twice a week to change the linen & to do a general clean which we wern't expecting but was much appreciated. The facilities are very good & i appreciated the use of the washing machine which meant i didn't have to take so many clothes! We did have a small problem one day with the power going off but we got straight on the phone to the property manager who talked us through the procedure to get it back on again fairly swiftly.

The outside area was very good & the garden is beautiful if a little under used by us. There is plenty of seating round the pool & it has stunning views across the hillside. The sun is on the pool area from first thing in a morning until about 7pm & due to this the water in the pool was at a lovely temperature all the time.

The location of the villa is very quiet & peaceful but close enough to all amenities. There are a couple of other villas nearby but we never heard any noise from them. The modelo supermarket is about a 5 minute drive away & is very well stocked. During our visit we spent quite a few of our days at Vilamoura which is about 20 minutes drive away & has a fabulous marina where you can hire jet skis etc & go on plenty of boat trips, dolphin safaris, parasailing etc. It also has loads of little shops & restaurants all the way round. well worth a visit. We also found a lovely beach at vale de lobo, again about 20 mins drive away. There are plenty of sunbeds to hire & they are located right next to some lovely restaurants right on the beachside where you can get a great English breakfast! There are a few waterparks within easy reach of the villa, one you drive past on the way to Vilamoura & the one we went to was Aqualand which was about 25 mins drive & very easy to find.

This is a great getting away from it all villa that we would definately book again if we went back to Portugal, in fact i wish it was mine!
