Ideal Location
I chose this property because the price was decent compared to so many other cottages in the area. The bedrooms are small, but really you’re in them to sleep, so this wasn’t an issue for me. The living room is also small, but we didn’t use it much. The kitchen & dining area is large and that’s where we spent most of our time. The kitchen met our needs and the dining table was a good size for 6 people. There is only one bathroom, but it didn’t bother us. I wish the shower head was removable though. There was plenty of soap, TP and Kleenex, which was nice to see. Since the rooms were small, I wish each room had some hooks to hang towels or clothes, that would be helpful. The only thing I found strange was while linens were provided, we had to make the beds when we arrived. I don’t mind striping them at the end of our stay, but I feel they should have been made for us upon arrival. There is a fire pit and BBQ, although I’m not sure the BBQ was listed in the amenities (if it was my bad for missing it). There is an a/c unit in the main area and it was enough to keep the cottage cool, even the bedrooms. I do wish there were extra blankets, but thankfully I brought one extra. It was clean and I would definitely stay here again. Overall, my few wish items are not deal breakers. Tony was very responsive and easy to communicate with. With the cottage being down the street from Main Street, it made for an ideal location.
