A great stay with minor inconveniences

Overall the place was great- everything was very clean. The deck and outdoor space is perfect and the furniture inside is very nice. The bathrooms are very clean and well kept. There were a few things that were inconvenient though. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms or kitchen. They only put one trash bag in each trash can, so you’ll have to buy some. The hot tub was pretty dirty and smelled gross. Outside of those few things, we absolutely loved it there. I highly recommend this place, but just know you’ll have to grab some essentials from the store beforehand.

Great getaway

We loved the place. Big house with lots of room for kids to run around. A good size living room for the adults to socialize. Plenty of seating and beds for all. Propane grill and fire pit were just what we needed to make dinners and s’mores. Close to the lake and state parks. Perfect relaxing weekend getaway. Highly recommend.

Inaccuracy of online listing

Don’t get me wrong my family and I had a very nice time at this property but felt deceived by the listing of the property for the property did not include the following: No Air Conditioning- very important for summer rentals (July) no mention of this property not having air conditioning not even in the reviews. There was no dish washer not a big deal but not listed. Perhaps the listing of the property could be revised. A few other things we noticed. The first first floor had strong musty odor. The shower head in the bathroom on the second floor needs replaced. The shower head on the first floor also needs replaced These were hardly functioning. We felt that there could’ve been more outdoor furniture on the back deck and even down by the hot tub.

Beautiful Cabin for family stay

This cabin was really beautiful and everything was well decorated and cozy. With a few changes, it would have been perfect. The kitchen was not fully equipped (no salt/pepper, no oven mitts, no coffee) - so just be sure to bring what you think you’ll need for your stay! The internet was very slow and there were no smart TVs, which is just something to keep in mind. There were also not enough toilet paper or trash bags so we had to run out for those. But all of these are just minor fixes. Overall the cabin was exactly what we were hoping for - a beautiful large space for our family to get together in a picturesque location!
