Nestled on a hill overlooking the quintessentially-charming village of Watisfield, First Chair Diehards can walk out the door and be on the ski bus in 5 minutes.  Nonskiers can just stroll down the hill at their leisure to explore the quaint shops and restaurants and hop on the shuttle bus later on to meet up for lunch or apres skiing at the mountain.  Waitsfield was recently voted best ski town in the East and you are right in the heart of it all at this house!


If you're looking for some relaxation, enjoy the gorgeous views on the wrap-around deck or cozy up on the couch with your favorite book and drink in the mountain views.

Enjoy making a big breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen or simply walk down the road and grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich at the Three Mountain Cafe before you hop on the shuttle bus.  You’ll be ready to hit the slopes the minute the bus arrives at the mountain.

When you’re not out shredding the slopes or exploring the quaint village shops, enjoy your perfectly-located homebase.  Stunning views from almost every room in the house and deck.  Beautiful hardwood oak floors are on the entire main level and wide pine on the lower level.  Choose from a large variety of board games or puzzles for some family fun or enjoy the free WIFI to catch up on social media.  Watch a free movie using the Roku on either of the flatscreen TV’s or sign in to your Amazon/Netflix account to watch pay movies.

Need some groceries?  No problem, head over to Shaw’s Market & Mehuron's Market, two full-service markets, which are all just ½ mile from the house.  They even sell wine and beer.  How convenient is that?

Or imagine coming home from skiing/boarding to the smell of a yummy stew cooking in the crock pot or enjoy delicious take out from The Mad Mexican or a Sip of Sunshine at the New Lawson's Brewery (again, just ½ mile away).

This is a spacious, yet cozy, three-level house. The main living area is on the 2nd level, where you will enter.  It has an open-concept kitchen, dining room, living room combination as well as ½ bath and foyer.  


The kitchen is well equipped with cookware, dinnerware, modern appliances, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig and features a four person breakfast bar.  But you also might be tempted to just dine out in the many restaurants located within a mile or two of the house.


The living room has a very comfortable Pottery Barn couch,  two oversized wing-back chairs and a bench.


The dining table seats up to six.


Expansive mountain and valley views from the x-large double patio doors on the main level as well as from most of the rooms and the enormous wrap-around deck.


The 3rd level consists of two bedrooms and a full bath with tub/shower and full size washer & dryer.

The Master bedroom has a queen-size sleigh bed and a flatscreen TV with a Roku attached to it.   The Roku allows you to watch TV & tons of free movies. Any pay movies can be paid for with your own Amazon, Netflix or Hulu accounts.  

The second bedroom has two comfortable twin beds with quilts and down comforters.

The 1st level has a very versatile large room which can be used as another living area or as a third bedroom or both. This room sleeps up to 3 people. There are:
- 2 twin bunk beds
- 1 twin trundle bed
and a sitting area with two couches and a rocking chair.
An additional flatscreen TV is in this room with another Roku attached to it. There is also a BlueRay DVD Player and a library of over 50 DVD’s.
Enjoy mountain views and lots of natural sunlight from the double patio doors in this room. Between May and October, you also overlook a beautiful perennial flower garden.

The 1st level has a propane "woodstove" to enjoy; however, please note that due to insurance restrictions, we can not allow you to utilize the wood-burning woodstove on the main floor.

There is a Sonos music system for Streaming music and Radio.

Quality bed linens, towels and pillows are provided.

Dinner and a movie can be enjoyed at The Big Picture Theatre. Have your dinner and beverage while watching the movie or let the kids watch the movie while the adults dine in the restaurant attached to the movie theatre. Yep, this is a pretty cool theatre and all less than a mile away.
